miserableoldgit Posted 9 June, 2009 Share Posted 9 June, 2009 Don`t know how accurate this is, but this was sent to me today:- This is unbelievable, but true! Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following employee statistics . 29 have been accused of spouse abuse 7 have been arrested for fraud 9 have been accused of writing bad cheques 17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses 3 have done time for assault 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges 8 have been arrested for shoplifting 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits 84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year Which organisation is this ? It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us inline. What a bunch of b*****ds we have running our country - it says it all. And just to top all that they probably have the best 'corporate' pension scheme in the country!! benjii Posted 9 June, 2009 Share Posted 9 June, 2009 A crock of ****. I have no doubt that if you can be bothered to go to some sort of "Urban Myth" website this will be exposed as total gash.
Huffton Posted 9 June, 2009 Share Posted 9 June, 2009 It probably needs updating anyway. Several cases of fraud need to be added...

hamster Posted 9 June, 2009 Share Posted 9 June, 2009 Actually, I am surprised that the list isn't longer. I expect that's the official Government figures, not the real ones.
Kadeem Hardison Posted 9 June, 2009 Share Posted 9 June, 2009 I'd like to work for that company. That's quite a good recruitment advert.

St Landrew Posted 10 June, 2009 Share Posted 10 June, 2009 In this day of almost instant and widespread communication, I'm slightly surprised someone hasn't yet proposed the idea of total government for the people and by the people - i.e. everyone has the opportunity to vote on every [major] issue, via the net. This could then eventually bring to an end the age old inefficient representative [MP] at Parliament. We'd just need the civil servants to shuffle the paperwork.
