Good shirt.Should of course be black shorts though.

Two minor alterations would be to move the umbro logo to a more discreet location, and remove the circle around the badge.*

I hope the white stripe would be identical on the reverse.

*different debate I know, but at the very least we should rid ourselves of the hideous scarf and ball on the crest.

Spot on I think the Umbro badge is too big for a start and the badge looks like horsepoo in a circle. I would hope the back was the same.

Would love either of those! To be honest i actually think i prefer the Ajax way round. But hopefully the new owners can get the request in to Umbro for this or next season.

I like this one, you must be a genius this looks amazing!!! You should work for Umbro, Nike or primark with your skills!

LOlage.

I actually don't like Rabbit's kits as much when you see them on. Needs collar detail too. And the red kit needs some white on the sides...

Also, why the adidas texture template ? On the Ajax-style one I can see the vents in the same place as the white/blue (and fluorescent/black) Chelsea kit from 2008/9. ;)

Pompey colours?! :)

No, Everton colours. Well, slightly light Everton colours, but at least they're faithful to the Le Coq Sportif original with the ugly round/v neck thing. and it's still better than the one with the ugly white bib on it that replaced it first time around.

Could you make the white stripe a bit thinner? It currently looks too lopsided to me.

Have you tried putting the badge and umbro logo on either side of the chest, would be interesting to see how that looks?

I quite liked the red and white halves one above as well.

Lovely kit!!

Flybe will not shrink their logo to fit the design of the kit as demonstrated on last year home kit.

got a bit bored today and thought I would have a go at a possible away kit for this season, it is based on the Republic of Ireland away kit.

I have also done some work on possible home shirts using the same template,

Carozzi,

Despite the presentation not being the best, that last 80's strip looks superb and is at least realstic given the template. Nice one.

If anyone is interested in seeing a preview of some of our new training range (looks good btw, no more navy blue - back to black red & white!) check out the echo & OS training articles

That Green kit is superb. I've been saying we should have a green away kit for years.

At last something completely different. Makes a change to yelllow, yellow or yellow.

I LOVE that. By far the best home kit, and an existing Umbro template. Shame we don't have a new home kit this season and they change their templates every season.

Just made this, not too keen on it though.

Apart from it being a 2 year old Umbro style it looks alright.

Except the red one with red socks they're all horrible, generic, uninspired training kit ideas. And the green one is particularly horrible. Sunday Leaguetastic.

Yes, or flint, black (twice), white (twice) and light blue, all of which we've worn in away matches since moving to St Mary's.

That green kit is vile AND boring.

I wouldn't say 'vile' or 'boring'.... I'd say different. The reason it doesn't sit with people is because it's original. ;)

It's original as long as you've never seen a cheap Pro-Star kit from any time since 2000. Or Arsenal's vile green kit from circa 1982.

A combination of dull washed out bluey-white with yellow, brown and red stains would be better.

The most interesting thing I noticed from the training pictures was that the club has somehow found a way to purchase a load of new training gear despite the financial situation and exclusivity... seeing as they didn't manage to find the money for new hooped socks for the reserves after February last season and they ended up wearing Forest-style red...

It's still a two year old Umbro template. West Ham, Blackburn, Everton and Birmingham (amongst others) had kits in this exact style in 2007 and stopped using them in 2008 or kept them for 3rd kit use only and are now replacing them.

In fact, everyone has stopped using it except for third kits for non-League teams who don't know better (Forest's black thing this season which was from the season before is also ending, Wrexham are the only ones I've seen introducing a similar style).

Also, you could buy an Umbro England away kit in the equivalent style for £4.89 three months ago from Sportsdirect.com, what makes you think anyone will pay £40 for one with a Saints badge on it that's already two years out of date ?

I like the boggle-eye smiley on the badge, but I was thinking more of a poorly washed white (bluey-white-grey) t-shirt with wee dribble, pooey mud colour and random bloodstains.

LOL :o

I remember using the prostar template this time around for something basic, but by no means did I expect to see the same colours lmfao.

gonna do some more tonight, and you are going to love them.

the original posters Xerox 80's inspired kits are great but IMHO could do with the addition of pencil thin clack lines on the verticles as was the case when the original was revised a couple of years into its life. That would be the icing on the cake for me
