Rumour is that none of the overground trains are stopping at Wembley tomorrow, which seems completely mental to me

Well that is interesting! No BR trains from Marylebone stop at Wembley Park anyway which only leaves Wembley Central and as a rule I believe only the slow trains stop there and even if they miss out Wembley Central there's always Stonebridge Park, North Wembley and South Kenton which are within walking distance. I predict complete chaos and many fans arriving just as the match is finishing !

Cheers Ponty. Will be driving with my mate tomorrow. Leaving Southampton about 12:30. Do you think we will make the game? Anyone have any suggestions about where to park or what to do?

12.30 should do it fine! Parking anywhere in London is of course difficult and in Wembley on a match day next to impossible. There is a car park for sure at Harrow and Wealdstone station and if you are lucky you might get a BR train to one of the stations I mentioned earlier even if trains are not stopping at Wembley Central. Also unless they have changed the parking restrictions near H & W station ( quite possible) you could park in one of the streets nearby. Last I was there parking was only restricted between 10am-11am and that to stop commuters. Can't be sure though.

Can you not get there from Gerrards Cross?

If you are really fit you could jog from there but it is on the BR line to Marlyebone ( Chiltern rail) and trains are definitely not stopping at: Harrow-on-the-Hill, Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, Chalfont and Latimer, Amersham. Plus of course Wembley Central. This is the link to Chiltern Railways:

Cab? Once you're as close as you can get, obviously.

Lol Watford might well be as reasonably close as you'll get if you are coming off the M25! Personally if I were coming that way I'd turn off near Heathrow ( if you're on the M3) and then Uxbridge and head through Hillingdon, Eastcote and Pinner. That route will also make Harrow a decent option, just remember to set your Satnav!
