Looking to go to Turkey in early September for a week with a few of my mates (all male). Looking to go out most nights but would also like some time out to relax or see sights etc. Firstly does anyone know where to get cheap flights and accommodation? Secondly what are people's opinions of Turkey? Any things or places to recommend? Thanks in advance

Yeah I think that's where my mate said marmaris. What's it like?

it has the bars to have a good time. one place called "bar street" which is exactly what is says on the tin...

you have a few bars on the beach which are good.

the beach itself has it all and a great indoor market...

I've been around Bodrum a couple of times in a few all inclusive resorts. Seemed pretty nice. Can't remember any more details than that I'm afraid.

Istanbul is great for nightlife around Taksim, and sightseeing on the european side, but it is hot, very overcrowded, and you will need a guide.

Bodrum & Gumbet are both excellent beach venues and do have great nightlife, full of english and turkish muff.

Marmaris is a more upmarket harbour resort and full of germans, great restaurants and bars.

Alanya is excellent for beach, nightlife and fantastic for sightseeing as it is towards the east. By far the best venue for visiting sights such as Cappadoccia, Pummekala, Troy and Batman which is a PKK stronghold, but well worth a visit. Alanya is bad for mosquitos mind.

Kusudasi (port), Fetiye and Olu Deniz are very lazy beach only resorts.

Any further questions or advice you need mate PM me.
