Colinjb Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 To the tune of Y'viva Espaná: WE'RE OFF TO WEM-BER-LEY... Y'VIVA LALLANA!!!!
cjay7 Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 How about a a Lallana version of the theme tune to the kids TV show "Bananas in Pyjamas" Just a thought .
Badger Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 How about a a Lallana version of the theme tune to the kids TV show "Bananas in Pyjamas" Just a thought . "lallana,lallana.. in pyjamas coming down the stairs " ? Good idea. But we'd better be a bit cautious in plagiarising this idea as the originator has previously taken someone to court in Australia ! Alternative and simple song just adapt Hey Jude: boring and repetitive but likely to catch on.
thesaint78 Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 To the tune of the Rasiak / Nicky Butt song : La La La La La La La La, La, La, La Lallana, Adam Lallana
SaintKenny Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 To the tune of 'who are ya?' Lallana, Lallana... repeat.
scott_saints Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 To the tune of 'who are ya?' Lallana, Lallana... repeat. The most likely one so far.
Le-Gend Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 It's got to be the end of the 'Only Fools and Horses' theme, Adam Lallana na na na na na na !
saintkiptanui Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 Great originality guys, no wonder we are the envy of other clubs:smt048
beancounter saint Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 I've been giving this some thought actually and it occurred to me that "Adam Lallana" fits perfectly to the rhythm of "Lady Madonna" by the Beatles. Unfortunately I didn't get much further than that - a few half baked ideas about "Flying down the wing" and "Doing his thing" or "Sitting in the hole" and "He will score a goal" - I'm sure you get the drift anyway if anyone is interested in working with it (or not!!!)
scott_saints Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 It's got to be the end of the 'Only Fools and Horses' theme, Adam Lallana na na na na na na ! I like.

How about from "Theres no limits" (or lyrics depending on who you are..): Lana, Lay Lay Lana, Lay Lay Lana, Adam Lallana... (repeated as many times as you like) And if you want to ad a verse you could have: Adam Lallana lets score us a goal, Keep scoring for fun, from back in the hole, Adam Lallana keep playing your role, You are the best better than paul Scholes. I'll get my coat ! :smt082
Barry Horne Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 On the subject of banana's, how about the Bananarama song: La,la,la,la La,la,la,la Hey, hey, hey La-llana La-llana

SoccerMom Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 I would want something to the tune of Volare in a Dean Martin stylee myself... or with Gypsy Kings clapping....? The name fits quite nicely with the Hallelujah Chorus, too (as was Alan Shearer's chant)
SaintNeil90 Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 OR when hes having a good game, scoring and we are winning! 'Adams too good for you' (repeat) same tune as your grounds to big for you.

Wilf Posted 29 August, 2008 Author Posted 29 August, 2008 On the subject of banana's, how about the Bananarama song: La,la,la,la La,la,la,la Hey, hey, hey La-llana La-llana Now that would be great! We used to sing that tune at the Dell in the early 1970s- "La,la,la,la La,la,la,la Hey, hey, hey South-hamp-ton" Bananarama covered that song, anyone remember who did it originally?
Bad Wolf Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 To the tune of Rasiak's song: Na na na na na na na na na Adam Lallana Lallana Adam Lallana Na na na na na na na na na Lallana Adam Lallana ect

Pancake Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 THIS IS THE ONE. What tune is that meant to be to? Some sites are listing it as "Viva Las Vegas", but I cant place it...
notnowcato Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 That is f**king awful. Oh gosh! The whole worlds a critic.. (NNC storms off in a hissy fit)
aids victim Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 Just the 2 of us - Bill Withers We should sing it all and then in a hushed tone, whisper Lallana.
de-fence Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 Yeah I agree that one above is definately the best of the lot. And that Kaiser Chief's one was f*cking abysmal lol. I found that so funny. He didn't even spell either of Kaiser or Chiefs correctly. That was truly terrible. But seriously someone try and get that one going tomorrow
notnowcato Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 Yeah I agree that one above is definately the best of the lot. And that Kaiser Chief's one was f*cking abysmal lol. I found that so funny. SoccerMom Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 Now that would be great! We used to sing that tune at the Dell in the early 1970s- "La,la,la,la La,la,la,la Hey, hey, hey South-hamp-ton" Bananarama covered that song, anyone remember who did it originally? A band called Steam. No, really.
notnowcato Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 Is your username anything to with a race horse?? Spot on. Reminds me of the ridiculously funny Peter Sellers too.
wadesmith Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 "I see a young Saint arising I see trouble on the way He has the pace as quick as lightning He is going to score a goal today Plays in Red n White Will set the world alight Theres Lallana on the right" (for when he plays wider, natch) Dude....with respect that is never gonna catch on.
St Landrew Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 (edited) As usual, Na na, Kiss 'em Goodbye rears it's ugly head. Just change the Na na, Na na to La Lallana, and Goodbye to Good Guy [or something better]. Easy to sing, and everybody knows the tune. So everybody sings it. EDIT: Oops, I see someone has already suggested it [hangs head in shame]. Edited 29 August, 2008 by St Landrew
offix Posted 29 August, 2008 Posted 29 August, 2008 "I see a young Saint arising I see trouble on the way He has the pace as quick as lightning He is going to score a goal today Plays in Red n White Will set the world alight Theres Lallana on the right" (for when he plays wider, natch) Now THAT is nice!
