Lets B Avenue Posted 2 June, 2009 Share Posted 2 June, 2009 Just remembered they were at Uxbridge tonight v Middlesex and caught the last few overs on Solent. Hants 181-6 Carberry 56 Ervine 53 (26 balls) Pothas 26 n.o Middlesex 125 all out 19 overs Ervine 4-16 Dawson 3-25. Shouldn't tax the mind of the MOM judge. Nice to see an away win after the 2 firk-ups last week. Bring on Essex Thursday @ Rose Bowl.

NI76 Posted 2 June, 2009 Share Posted 2 June, 2009 Well done hampshire - good result against Udal! We could go throguh to the next round with another couple of wins.[/ I think it will be tough. We've got 5 games left and probably need to win 4 to make the top 2. Unfortunately, 4 of the 5 to play are against Essex and Kent. We've played all the crap in the first 5 (Surrey, Sussex and Middx). Might manage a best third place qualifier with 3 more wins.
chrisobee Posted 2 June, 2009 Share Posted 2 June, 2009 Don't forget Essex have Napier, Bopara and Foster with England and they'll miss them more than we miss Dimi. KP does not even enter the equation as he's a Hants player in name only, I doubt he'll ever play a game for us again ! Kent have Key with England though no one else I think ? NI76 Posted 2 June, 2009 Share Posted 2 June, 2009 Essex are certainly weaker without those three but they're still pretty formidable at Chelmsford in one dayers. Not unbeatable though. The only way we'll see KP this season is if we make the FP final and some poor sod like Benham will have to make way for him!
