wheels Posted 30 May, 2009 Share Posted 30 May, 2009 (edited) Am reading his book "Jellyman's Thrown a Wobbly" which is all about Soccer Saturday, and came across the following quote whilst his was writing about Le Tiss: .."As it was, by staying at Southampton he was a) regarded highly by large numbers of the football community because his club were hardly perennial winners, and b) hated only by Pompey fans, and who really cares about that?" Brilliant, and that from a Hartlepool fan as well. I would highly recomend the book, has some great stories in it, and Jeff's admiration for Le Tiss is there for all to see. (One of them is a Chelsea fan at least, I'm sure of it!)

Summers Posted 1 June, 2009 Share Posted 1 June, 2009 I've read it, Definitely a fantastic read! ''Matt (Le Tissier) sadly was a coke addict, not the Mark Bosnich type, no i'm talking about his fondness for a particular brand of fizzy drink'' :-)

I met him about 2 weeks after they were mascots I got the impression from what JS was saying, that they were Saints fans
