ive not seen any evidence to suggest morph knows anything. other then an uncanny ability to post very vague info that somehow keeps people coming back for more

its funny how the one consortium to actually do the deal is the only one to not have anyone 'itk' giving details of it on here

Im sure all will come out eventually but being an impatient little sod, I have tried to find out a little more on the man I believe to be our alleged "investor" but details on the www are very very scarce.

I have never heard of him or his companies. As his personal fortune suggested is obviously alot of money, I am surprised that more information is not readily available - his name cannot be found on any rich lists.

bizzare.

I remember talk on here ages ago about a local businessman who was very well off. I think there was something about a publican talking to someone on here. The pub was somewhere in the New Forest area, Lyndhurst maybe.

I vaguely thought the bloke was something to do with the chemical industry. Specialised in turning failing companies around.

Sorry to be a bit vague, but it was several months ago and I have slept since then....

I bloke that I think you're referring to went under the name of Waterloo Saint" or some such and I think he ran the Waterloo Arms in Lyndhurst.

Can't remember him mentioning the chemical guy at the time though. I thought it was more to do with Crouch.

LOL. There is an obvious, and potentially worrying reason for this.

Some one said to me at the gym last night that the money man was Elton John, laughed so much I nearly fell off the cross trainer.

who would use pinnacle, local company and give them this much trust and responsibilty - rather than their accountants/lawyers from london?

Good question. Someone who sees the entire transaction as a property purchase?

After reading Barry Hearns bitter comments about us and then noticing that Hearns club Leyton Orient had recently had its buyers pull out, I wonder if there is a link?

The guy who headed the consortium interested in buying Orient was Terry Byrne, if I am not mistaken Terry Byrne is David Beckham's advisor and some media refer to him as Beckhams personal manager.

Although Byrne said that Beckham was not directly involved in the buyout, but that could be a smokescreen and I would put money on the fact that in the future once Beckhams playing career was over he would be involved.

Byrne has not got the personal wealth, it is the consortium who are the money men.

Beckham has often been quoted as saying that he wants to buy a club once his playing career is over along with his mate Tom Cruise.

Probably totally wrong but a couple of other clues seem to fit.

Tom Cruise (wee man)

Black and Gold (Galaxy away strip).

Previous involvement in football (Byrne was Director of football at Watford)

Been mentioned on here before.

Household name.

Not sure about the property and real estate link although is Becks home in north east london?

I'll get my coat!
