Tamesaint Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 I think I have pieced together our 4 little horse-loving original consortium... just not sure which was the one that came back to the table, my guess is still Tabor though. Why do you think it is Tabor (I happen to agree with you) ?? Who are the 4??? I thought it was 3 - Tanor, Magnier and MacManus.

Roger de Haan is the man behind Folkestone’s new harbour. He bought the site 14 years ago and is developing a marina and is planning a university campus. He has previously established a creative quarter and City Academy at the seaside town.

saintbletch Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 Mmm. #18 on here was mentioned on this forum the other day - I will search for a link. Here it is. It was earlier on in this thread. Coincidence or did Saint Jude pull the information from the same source? Roger de Hann(sic) got the money, already has links with Southampton...and a history of refurbishing dock areas..which we need...
Badger Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 What links does Roger de Haan already have with Southampton ?
Morph Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 It's certainly not Ali Dia. That is for sure Regards Morph
saint_stevo Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 do you finish every message with Regards Morph ??
StuRomseySaint Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=316056&postcount=545 Guess not... The story might not be right, the 'consortium' might be... the only one missing from the 4 is the 'household name' ... I have my suspicions whom that is, but I am giving up my detective work now, time to start paying attention to the missus again.
StuRomseySaint Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 There's no rush, I'll wait. I'm good at that. Are you talking about this thread or my post directly above yours?

trousers Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 I'm guessing Phillip Green. I'll see your Phillip Green and raise you a Reuben brother. Anyone for Takeover Top Trumps?
Mole Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 I'm guessing Phillip Green. Green has been described as "flash". For his son's Bar Mitzvah in 2005, he spent £4 million on a three-day event for over 200 friends and family in the French Riviera. He also hired Andrea Bocelli and Destiny's Child to perform.[8] For his 50th birthday he flew 200 guests in a chartered Boeing 747 to a hotel in Cyprus for a three-day toga party, where they were serenaded by Tom Jones and Rod Stewart, who was reportedly paid £750,000 for a 45-minute set. For his 55th birthday he flew 100 guests 8,500 miles in two private jets from London Stansted Airport. They arrived at the exclusive Maldives resort of Four Seasons: Landaagiraavaru, an eco-spa on a private Indian Ocean island.[9] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Green
