This new owner is into property and real estate supposedly.

 

 

My boss is worth a couple of hundred mill and is in property, I have told him numerous times that he should buy SFC.

Maybe he has bought me a early Birthday present!

I think if you could answer the question "Why Pinnacle" then you'd be able to

follow a logic path to the likely buyer. Was it MLT asking Pinnacle or Pinnacle asking MLT,answer that and you'd be able to file it down to 3 or 4 likely candidates.As I've said, I don't really give a rat's arse who it is, as long as there's money to buy us out of admin and get us up and running that's enough for me.

Tabor lives in Monaco, so I think it's more likely that if he buys us, it is linked to my email demanding reparation for the silver stolen by the pirate Grimaldi from Southampton, a few years ago....

To be fair, I heard the Tabor name a few times previous to that post, all pub chat though, granted.

I've been told just now who it supposed to be. If it turns out to be true, I wouldn't have guessed it with 2 million guesses.

my guess is as soon as we know, we will quickly lose interest! It doesn't really matter as long as he has convinced MLT and is going to invest and leave a good team in charge - the various names mentioned would not make me more, or less, happy.

Whilst curious, I have to agree with bridge too far. What makes me laugh, is that for ages, certain posters have blamed 'stayaways' for nearly putting the club out of business. So what do we all do now, try and expose someone, who is going to buy Saints, but wants to remain anonymous.........you really couldn't make this up.

For example, if someone told me who the owner of WH Smiths was I would venture it is someone I've never heard of before...
