the crowds at the end of the season may have helped, the buckets? - waste of time and money

But surely the point is that they tried to do something?

Makes me laugh that some people are slagging these people off for being 'misguided', when they have hung off of every word from serial bullsh*tting chancer Jackson over the last few weeks.

A touch of hypocrisy there.

Thank you soo much for giving us some good news for a change I must admit I was getting really worried rumour has it that some of the northstand was being given over to the away fans and as a season ticking holder for ten years in that stand I do not relish the thought at having to move from my spot in block 42 we are united in that stand and have supported that team through thick and thin, please make sure that it remains the North Stand for the home supporters cant wait till the season tickets come out

Blimey! The longest sentance in the world! Ever!:)

don't see the link - think bucket collectors were misguided and Jackson appears full of it!

A bit belated here, but I'm heartened by TL's words and the unusually long length this thread reached before the obvious trolling began :)

To win at poker all you need is a chip and a chair. Last week we were chipless and tottering upon a one legged milking stool. That stool has been swapped for a chair, all we need now is a chip! Er, I think...

For those people who have run out of commas I have a few below you can use.

They do break sentences up and aid breathing for those trying to read.

,,,,,,,, ,,,

if reading affects your breathing it's probably your problem.

how did the op get hold of this letter from tony lynam?

why was it not a mod/admin or whatever that put it on here? im confused

thanks in advance...

It was posted in the "Pinnacle clinches it" thread. I think the OP just wanted to draw attention to it and give people a place to discuss the message itself without distractions.

Yep, it may have got lost on page 10 of a different thread. So I made a new thread as clearly it deserved one :)

And the fact it's just one owner is good. Gone of the days of personality/ego clashes.

Why? Is this one owner going to be the Chairman, manager, head coach etc etc.

There are personality and ego clashes in most organisations, why should the new set up be any different?

They can clash all they like so long as they turn things around at SFC.

As far as I can gauge it, there were to have been three partners in a consortium and then two of them dropped out, leaving just the one. now, if you believe that this guy is going to stand in front of a mirror and argue with himself, then you might be right. Apart from that, he will be the one financing the whole thing, it will be his club. He might appoint a chairman if he doesn't wish to be chairman himself, he could equally appoint executive directors to run the business for him and he will also probably appoint his own manager to run the team. But he will be the boss and the others will be under no illusions that if they don't work in the way he wants, or don't get on with him, then they will either be fired or can leave.

Surely you can see the difference between this situation and the one that we have had for over a decade. A lot of those squabbles caused by rival shareholding individuals or groups has now gone, so it was a reasonable enough comment that also a lot of the cause of friction and internal wrangling has also gone.
