SaintRichmond Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 (edited) Can they be purchased NOW, or have we got to wait for the deal to be finalised ??? (It would be nice to welcome the New Owners with 15000 ST's ..... NOT beyond the realms of possibility ) Edited 29 May, 2009 by SaintRichmond
Made in Southampton Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 So do I and I haven't had one in years so just goes to show the wave of optimisum we have.
Mase Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 So do I and I haven't had one in years so just goes to show the wave of optimisum we have. Same… Ashamed to admit it but my last Season Ticket was when we were in the Prem. Will definitely be getting one this year though, without fail!
Ziggy Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 It'll be interesting to see if they try and have an early bird period option or some form of reduction for last year's ST holders. It'll be a bit of a rush to sort out in time.

JRM Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 I doubt there will be any decision on this yet, the group have not bought the club, so they will have no authority in decision making on pricing etc. They can begin working on it behind the scenes, but realistically it will be another 2 weeks. Would be great to have cheap prices combined with optimism to get 15k, not sure if we could do it though
VectisSaint Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 Can't see how season tickets can be sold until a deal is finalised. We have only entered a period of exclusivity. Maybe that is a good sign, but too many people are jumping the gun.

Amesbury Saint Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 with the new OS they could start a registration scheme for the date they can be sold.
egreog Posted 29 May, 2009 Posted 29 May, 2009 The enthusiasm is great, but much still needs to be done I would imagine before this is a done deal.......everyone will just need to keep fingers crossed that it all works out

teamsaint Posted 30 May, 2009 Posted 30 May, 2009 When STs do go on sale I would suggest much wider differenciation in price. Sell the very best seats at premium prices for those who want/can afford them(with sweetners added in ?). Then sell as many as possible at attractive prices (£250/£295) for the corners etc. There must be plenty of people who miss some game each season but who would pay up on the basis that they , say, £295 is still cheaper than 15 walk ups.
Matthew Le God Posted 30 May, 2009 Posted 30 May, 2009 I think we should try and beat Norwich and their close to 20k season tickets. Unlikely but worth a try
bigtonesfc Posted 30 May, 2009 Posted 30 May, 2009 I shall be buying 2 season tickets for the first time for a few years now i`m back living down here!
docker-p Posted 30 May, 2009 Posted 30 May, 2009 Anyone got an idea what the average season ticket price is for Div 1 ? Enthusiasm + Good deal on ticket price = Full house = Better chance of success on pitch.
Neil Posted 30 May, 2009 Posted 30 May, 2009 Mods - Can we have make this a sticky on the Season Ticket debate, as this is one of the most critical early things Pinnacle have to get right? Any debate on here may be viewed by the new people, so all ideas are welcomed surely. To kick things off here's the MK Dons prices which I know someone has already posted recently. They seem to have some very attractive deals, like us they have quite a lot of seats to sell so can be a bit more flexible than most. They've sold 5,000 so far, which obviously we can easily beat. Sell the best seats at premium prices,(with sweetners) sell as many as you can at cheap prices elsewhere. In my view, lots of people will buy at under 300 as you can afford to miss quite a few games and still get a good deal.
sotonjoe Posted 30 May, 2009 Posted 30 May, 2009 They are not going to give tickets away ... a balance has to be struck. I'd be surprised to see prices lower than £350 per adult in any section of the ground.
teamsaint Posted 31 May, 2009 Posted 31 May, 2009 Charlton, MK, Millwall and Bristol Rovers all have "new" STs, (not renewals) at £300 or less.
Dannyboy_Saint Posted 31 May, 2009 Posted 31 May, 2009 If the deal goes through then regardless of cost they simply MUST reopen the Itchen and Kingsland corners. The atmosphere last season was significantly dampened when these were closed IMO.
eharty9 Posted 31 May, 2009 Posted 31 May, 2009 on re-opening the corners i feel only the itchen corner should be re opened as that was the only part of the ground which generated as much atmousphere as the northam. but if they do close the corners they should put a little more effort to make it look a little neater!!!
RedAndWhite91 Posted 31 May, 2009 Posted 31 May, 2009 I've never had one but I'll definitely be getting one this season coming, and I absolutely cannot wait. If the deal goes through then we know that the 'client' is worth several hundred million, I don't think closing the corners as a cost-cutting measure should be necessary.
