Block 5 Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 anyone know how Wotte's meeting went today? (according to Echo, he was meeting Pinnacle)
dubai_phil Posted 2 June, 2009 Posted 2 June, 2009 lmfao But without wishing to be pedantic, I think you actually get a different form if you are moving from employment to overseas. Well at least I did 16 years ago, had all sorts of trouble getting my old employer to change a P45 into a Psomethingelse!

Islander Posted 3 June, 2009 Posted 3 June, 2009 Not sure if this has been mentioned or even if its relevant but SLH price has disappeared from LSE listings. Was still showing yesterday although you obviously couldn't trade. Hopefully this means things are moving along nicely.
NickG Posted 3 June, 2009 Posted 3 June, 2009 think that shows it is going through and this period is genuinely for contracts etc
SFC Forever Posted 3 June, 2009 Posted 3 June, 2009 Everythings looking rosy. It's looking red and white.

Isn't that the first thing that Lynam said in his letter - "delisting of the company" or words to that effect? Would seem that was said with knowledge of what was happening...... good vibes

Islander Posted 3 June, 2009 Posted 3 June, 2009 (edited) The few SLH shares I have are held in a Halifax share dealing account - I looked on there and normally it shows the price - today the company is called '5866' and not SLH and not showing a price. On looking at company details earlier it showed last price at 1630 yesterday. Now it shows absolutely nothing!! Edited 3 June, 2009 by Islander

ericofarabia Posted 3 June, 2009 Posted 3 June, 2009 I know Tony was at SMS this afternoon sorting out a few things. Hopefully we'll have some exciting news to muse over soon..... Fantastico ... can anybody with connections with him, ask if all good news and updates be released on Fridays, as since the bid acceptance I've been worried about just exactly how I was going to spend my Fridays if I wasn't on here F5 ing every 2 minutes I was trying to explain to somebody today about where we stand at the moment and discovered I can't pronounce "Exclusivity" (or spell it without cheating ). I keep putting either another either 'iv' to make exclusivivity or and extra 'it' making exclusivitity. Anybody else have problems with it? I wouldn't be surprised if that is why it took so long to get any sort of deal done as the bidders were too embarrassed to mispronunce it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQjPgO8O6gg

thorpie the sinner Posted 4 June, 2009 Posted 4 June, 2009 Will it take Pinnacle the whole 21 days to finalise deal? If so, we won't hear anything for two weeks! Shall we go on holiday and reconvene on the 19th?
PaulSaint Posted 4 June, 2009 Posted 4 June, 2009 Farmer or somebody else, can you assure us that what "Ted Rogers, Winchester" is stating here is B*llsh *t: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4418942.Is_Wotte_on_his_way/ Heres a flavor: "Pinnacle did not pay £500k, that was a figure mooted in the media and widely accepted by most. This deal is faltering - fact. Has no deal ever fallen out of bed because matters cannot be agreed upon? Do not think that this is a simple case of dotting i's and crossing t's;Pinnacle were given preferential treatment over the Jackson consortium on a set of verbal commitments and the involvement of MLT. You will soon witness the collapse of this deal due to 'irreconcilable difference' " It starts about a third of the way down. The fact his name is "Ted Rogers" is a bit suspicious but its slightly unnerving just the same!
