When the radio station was purchased we were not expecting to be relegated.£1m is nothing when you are in that league. It had earnings that you cant quantify. What is 24 hour advertising worth a year? Especially as the people listening are in the main pro Saints and so likely to buy from the advertising. To me it was a good investment if we had stayed up.

When Pompey radio is being broadcast and is pushing their club i expect fans will moan why couldnt we do the same.

In other words, in any other world except the real one, this was a good investment. Brilliant! If ever I give the impression that I need investment advice from you, nickh, please assume that I have lost my mind.

Thanking you in advance.

but if RC is slagging off RL about the radio station then IMO that is not right and so he's not speaking for me. I was fully expecting to see him at Saintsaid but i didn't see him.

Until we stop pointing the finger the club will die.People who have no connection to us always point to the infighting at the club. United we stand divided we fall and all that.

No your right nick.......I didn't actually hear him mention your name. Naughty Chorley..naughty boy.

Oh FFS - was an investmnet in a service that cost the club a bout 200k a year t9o run - yet teh volume of airtime it provided to teh club for marketing and advertising would ahve cost in excess of 7 figures a year had it been spent on a 3rd party - but hey why let these sort of facts stand in teh way of another Chorley rant based on ignorance of business economics... The cost would have been covered by teh annual marketing/advertising budget, which meant that budget could be LOWER than otherwise and thus LESS money leaving the club...

They obviously edited the interview for the bit on just now. He didn't mention RL or the radio station. His comments were limited to (and I paraphrase) - we're in desperate need of a takeover and we wouldn't be here now if Leon hadn't pitched in to keep us going for the past 2 months.

I thought you knew.......................secrets...remember!!

You seem so bitter and twisted that I get some info. Some I can put up others bits I cant as I have been asked not to.You obviously are a motormouth and cant be trusted to keep secrets but don't give others grief as they do have integrity.

I wouldnt expect you would ever be in a position to need investment advice, and anyway its illegal as Im not registered to give it.

You should contact all the big manufacturers and tell them how foolish they are spending on advertising on the radio as nobody obviously buys anything after listening.

Only prob with that FC is that The Saint had limited range - so if your talking about "free" advertising - they would have been preaching to Saints fans anyway.

Oh nicky........insults do not become you. If my friend, you set your self up as a know all, and get found out as a know f*ck all, then please forgive me for my little digs. WHAT!!!, have you actually posted re this takeover, that has born fruit. FFS, yesterday you had the club all folded, and the end of the world was nigh. Also, my little over emotional darling, my views are based on your ability, to change sides every couple of hours.

Is Souness "based" in Switzerland ????

It's not Souness.

It's Lewis Hamilton.

Having decided that nailing one Pussy (Cat Doll) isn't enough, he has decided to buy a whole team of them to play with.

True story. I'm ITK.

To be fair, so did a lot of other posters who I trust implicitly.

There in lies the problem. It has been said before, posting rumor as fact, causes others to get their juices running. A few simple letters like IMO, might help sort out the chaff. As to all this secret squirrel stuff, nudge nudge wink wink.........some I trust, others are just on an ego trip.

But all the FACTS are clear for everyone to see: The Administrator basically has 4 parties still NEGOTIATING a bid - some probably more credible than others. i one meets the creditors criteria, they will become the preferred bidder and go to due diligence.... end off that is all we know.

My concern is that it does seem to taking quite some time for a preferred bidder to be selected because of either a) none have the required funds, b) backers dropping out, c) bulls hitters d) last minute entries such as the rumoured Swiss backed bid... and the problem with paying wages whilst this is all finalised.

I'm disappointed in Chorley

Ian Payne asked him where the money has gone and he ranted on about 10 years of Rupert Lowe.

He never mentioned MW once, or explain to Ian Payne where the money for Bale, Kenwyne, or Baird went - all of which happened when Rupert was away

If I post my pic of a headless man again, will somebody promise to ban me from this forum so I can do some work? I keep clicking on this thread when I know that it is 99.9% drivel in the forlorn hope that somebody will actually have added something useful (and yes I know I have just done the same bloody thing that I am complaining about).
