Saint George Posted 7 September, 2008 Share Posted 7 September, 2008 An interesting development or just a publicity stunt do you think ? http://www.blackbottom.com/watch.php?v=WdBJd9b9i8A Link might not last very long as another young man is claiming to be the father of the child that Palins daughter is expecting. Saint Martini Posted 8 September, 2008 Share Posted 8 September, 2008 Heh so Palin's a 'naive' redkneck?...wtf does that make uhhboma? ....an expeienced comunity orginiser? lol Right, cause Obama has said in an interview he's not sure what a president actually does... I think the Dems were scared about three minutes when Palin was announced as McCains running mate. Then the **** had already hit the fan and nobody is going to take her seriously except people that already supported McCain anyway.

I think the Dems were scared about three minutes when Palin was announced as McCains running mate. Then the **** had already hit the fan and nobody is going to take her seriously except people that already supported McCain anyway. I think she's only capable of winning over a very small percentage of fickle Hilldog fans, this looks like it'll backfire on the Republicans. revolution saint Posted 8 September, 2008 Author Share Posted 8 September, 2008 The choice of Palin is a strange choice (at least from the outside anyway). The only thing she has going for her is inexperience and being a woman. I doubt that'll sway many hilldog supporters and it makes the republicans look like they're aping the democrats - witness McCain's 'change is coming' speech the other day. I suppose she appeases a few right wingers in the party but so could a lot of other candidates for the VP position and anyway isn't the idea that successful parties move to the centre rather than pleasing the more extreme elements in their own party? To be honest I've still got a hunch that McCain will win.

Just because he bears a pair of tits, she is so far removed from Hillary it's funny. A bit concerning if the Republicans manage to cheat and buy the election as they did in 2000 - McCain probably has a 50/50 chance of making a term with his health so Palin, the inexperienced Redneck, would be President. Still, we're talking about an electorate that voted (genuinely this time) in 2004 for Bush Jnr on the basis he was the sort of bloke you'd go for a beer with. RoswellSaint Posted 9 September, 2008 Share Posted 9 September, 2008 Only 8 weeks to go. If you think you have heard too much over there, imagine what it has been like here and will be for the next 2 months. This is my first chance to vote for president. Not inspiring choices. McCain too old, too much like Bush in approach to world, picked a very right wing running mate (or so she has been portrayed so far). Obama - inexperienced but will attempt to rebuild US relationship with rest of the world. It will be close but I think Obama will win. McCain needs to change the perception of Palin if he is to win the "soccer mom" vote. Most of them are socially liberal, fiscally conservative - not NRA loving, anti-abortion, etc.

Why suddenly a person called Sarah has rocked your boat? Uhhbama?...That's just a response to the lie that he's a great orator.....Get him away from the teleprompter and he's pretty much incoherent....sounds more like a blithering idiot than the 'great orator' he's held up to be. As for disliking him so much?....I have to admit i started off a little biased against him, he immediately reminded me of Tony Blair and that was bad enough....But then i looked at him a little closer and what i found was basically ****ing scary. I cant recommend to peeps who are fawning over the 'One' to take a good hard look at what's behind the charade...This guy didn't get where he is on his own, not by a long way...There's some very dodgy people who had a hand in putting 'the turtle on the post'. Being leader of a country especially a country with the power of the US is not just about policy its also about judgment....now take a look at Uhhbama's judgment in just some of the friends, influences and aquatintence's he chooses and has chose to keep.....All very well documented...Ya'll can google them to find out more Bill Ayers...... friend of Uggbama Bernardine Dohrn......ditto Kwame Malik Kilpatrick.......ditto Antoin "Tony" Rezko........ditto Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.....20 year association as Uhhbamas pastor and mentor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M-kD0QdRJk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2QDpBRFVAA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voBBx9EaEGA&feature=related Cynthia K. Miller....part of Uhhbama's team Dr. Khalid al-Mansour....who 'chose' and sponsored Uggbama in his early days This is just the tip of the iceberg with him....there's huge chunks of his past that have either gone missing or are conflicting....hell we dont even know his leagal real name for sure....Barry? Barack? Obama? Soereto? Husain? Mohamed?...could be any combination of those....You decide And i haven't even started on his socialist policies.......the same policies that screwed Britain over in the 70's and again more recently Hating Bush is not a reason to vote Uggboma And yeah.....Sarah, although i dont agree with all her policies has added some balance to some of McCains left wing leanings.....making the overall package the right one

doublesaint Posted 9 September, 2008 Share Posted 9 September, 2008 With a political system so dependent on large scale donations to either party, is it at all surprising that people who back the candidates may have some reason to have a say in policy decisions. You can't seriously tell me that Bush/McCain do not have equally 'dodgy' people backing him. And this is not getting at Bush/McCain personally, more the party machine and the American political system, though even that is a travesty of democracy in the first place. I will admit there is left wing bias from a number of other news channels, but none come even close to matching Fox for out and out vehement bias and general tabloid trash. It is comical. If Fox News did the same as MSNBC have done, they'd have dead airtime (and we can discount Alan Colmes, Sean Hannity's stooge) And before you label me as a CNN worshipping liberal.
