thegaffer Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 If someone is being shown around Staplewood at what point in negotiations do you think they are?
benjii Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Depends. Could be a Hungarian feeder club, could be Jack Boyle, could be Paul Allen.
Weston Super Saint Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 If someone is being shown around Staplewood at what point in negotiations do you think they are? Are they really old? Could be our first signing

rocknrollman no2 Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Perhaps it was some of our players being shown around, because it certainly seemed judging from their performances last season that most of them hadnt used it.
pilsburydoughboy Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Perhaps it was the rag and bone man who has come to pick up all of Clive Woodwards cutting edge gadgets. They did us the world of good in the four years. They will be on sale at the bootie next Sunday.
dubai_phil Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Lol good to see the OS is up to speed with all the big news.... Here we are, no matches going on and yet the latest posting tells us about..... New timings for the Ticket Office http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11777
Yate Saint Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 It may have been the new revolutionary Iraqi coaches that will take us to the the Champions League Final in 2013.
Channon's Sideburns Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Were they looking for magic mushrooms Might be in with a chance...with the amount of sh1te playing on those pitches lately...

Nineteen Canteen Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 If someone is being shown around Staplewood at what point in negotiations do you think they are? Probably on a short list and one who must have demonstrated an ability for the role. I guess you are close to being offered a proper job. Good luck. Will you be required to work Sundays?
70's Mike Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Local farmer looking for some cheap grazing? Plus the tent could act as a barn
dubai_phil Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Change the catering and maybe we'll finally get a good Boxty to Boxty midfielder
SaintRichmond Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 If someone is being shown around Staplewood at what point in negotiations do you think they are? ..... "well, this is our current training ground, and when I get back, we'll have to use it as our Main ground, as I will have sold St Mary's .... I mean, you can't expect us to play in that big place, now that we are a struggling Div 1 Team now can you ??? .......... by the way, my name is Rupert ..... " PS. to my Customers ...Last season has been well worth it, stringent cuts, relegation, Admin, etc etc....... just to get me back even stronger than before. Well done Marc ..... (cheque in post) .........(hope Barclays don't bounce that one .........)
david in sweden Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 If someone is being shown around Staplewood at what point in negotiations do you think they are? MAYBE....we're getting a quotation for cutting the grass, next season ....?
SaintRichmond Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 MAYBE....we're getting a quotation for cutting the grass, next season ....? Or was it .... "coup de grace " ..........
david in sweden Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Or was it .... "coup de grace " .......... ouch ! maybe we should say " grassy-ass " instead...?
david in sweden Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 They just want to be sure, to be sure most likely suggestions now are; a) getting estimates for white paint for the sidelines, or b) having the motor mowers blades sharpened.... ...surely can't be anything more that that. I disregard thoughts that the sight of the groundsmans car in the car park means that the site will become the largest car showroom in the county.
Mole Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Were they looking for magic mushrooms Wrong time of the year i'm afraid. Picking times are from September through to November and generally in sheep fields.
