When Irish eyes are smiling

Delmary, all i can add is that Pinnacle are still very keen and their one really wealthy guy,has to put up or lose out to the Irish bid.It still appears Fry wanted the Pinnacle bid to happen, and the Irish interest has got them moving again.I have no knowledge of who the Irish guys are,but i do know a deal is imminent. The fact is Tony Lynam is purely acting as a broker on comission, but definately believes in his client.

Can't be arsed to read them.

Anyone fancy summing up for me?

Just read the OP - it is all there is to know other than confirmation on the Echo site. Other than that it is just some (occasionally) amusing drivel which I have been guilty of contributing to.

won't the bank have already refused/declined the BACS mandate due to the advance notice required?

I think that the payment would go out tomorrow, not clear tomorrow?

In any event there's several ways for it to not be a problem - the Bank can action BACS on uncleared funds if they're happy that a pending payment will clear. They could also pay by CHAPS tomorrow or do as one company I had the displeasure to be involved with did - issue cheques! I can also think of several ways that BT can cover or provide security - if they can be arsed that is.

Of course SFC can always just pay late - bouncing "pay cheques" is more problematical than late payment IMHO.

Oh well, we'll soon find out I suppose :(

"Client", in singular. So is it an individual client he is representing or a consortium (which you may have described as "clients".)?

Not wishing to be pedantic but not sure if this is a change in emphasis of the Pinnacle bid.

I thought it was always one very wealthy individual accompanied by one or more less wealthy mukkas. I also believe that some have come and gone after being frightened off by the finances required.

Dyer sold for 400k...200k tomorrow morning and 200k next month....assets gone down and buys fry more time to not make a decision....the irish bid is a massive smoke screen imo for bidding to go up....

I bought two pairs of Shamrock Rovers away socks yesterday, is this relevant in any way ??

NB They are bright pink (like Rupert's cheeks) and made by Umbro (like Saints' kit).

Hey, it's enough for Dan Brown.

Bitterness To Be Classified As a Mental Illness

Some psychiatrists are trying to get excessive bitterness identified as a mental illness named post-traumatic embitterment disorder. Of course this has some people who live perfect little lives, and always get what they want, questioning the new classification. The so called "disorder" is modeled after post-traumatic stress disorder because it too is a response to a trauma that endures. "They feel the world has treated them unfairly. It's one step more complex than anger. They're angry plus helpless," says Dr. Michael Linden, the psychiatrist who put a name to how the world works.

PTED - quite a few on here seem to suffer from this, no? ;-)

There'll be a few Mancs at their doctors this morning then.

My sauces tell me that Philip Green is back in the hunt, and Paul Allen was yesterday spotted outdide St Marys with a bag of cash. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just relaying what my dog told me.
