Weston Saint Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Can you please clarify this is a joke.Without tempting fate I bloody well hope so
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Can you please clarify this is a joke. This is Southampton, it's more than likely deadly serious.
dubsaint Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Could Jackson be fronting for these guys as everything about him sounds a bit Irish. Can you explain what a ' Bit Irish' sounds like
dubai_phil Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Does anyone else suspect that Fry is just tossing it off and playing everyone for idiots? Or is it just me. Since Day One It's what he is apparently very good at
kpturner Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 All these **** poor irish jokes remind me of the time that Man City got taken over recently. While the cameras were on the reporter outside the stadium talking about the take-over, clueless City fans danced around behind him with fake turbans on and doing eqyptian dances. Welcome to Manchester City?? They couldn't even get the country right! If this Irish take over takes place are we going to see similar scenes outside St Mary's with dumb-ass fans dancing around dressed as leprechauns - just to make them feel welcome?
dubai_phil Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Nope not just you, I only hope the people trying to do the deals dont get ****ed off Oh they did. But then perhaps a thick skinned fool who doesn't let it get to him was what we needed at the beginning. I'd love to have a beer or a round of Golf with MLT when this is all over and hear what he thinks

Either that or they'll bring a flute.
kpturner Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 WH Ireland anyone? Been done already several times on this thread - but I don't blame you for not looking through the thread in detail before posting!
Viking Warrior Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 I think we have more chance of Borat finding us a buyer in kirdasthan than Mark Fry Succeeding! Sorry for my appalling spelling have been on the highland park after winning another game of golf. Two in a week

trousers Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Rumour I hear is that Tommac is behind the Irish bid. (No joke) would that be the same tommac rumour mooted on this thread about 463 posts ago? ;-)
dubai_phil Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Hopefully SMS will start selling some sort of Leek pie. They won't. But SMS may Leak tomorrow. Yours, still very worried of Al Safa
Mole Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Hopefully SMS will start selling some sort of Leek pie. I can cope with an Irish consortium, but a Welsh consortium hmmm....

bridge too far Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Why? I have read the entire bloody thing already. Because Saint-stevo posted the WH Ireland thing in the first place and got some stick for doing so.

I didn't say suicidal of Al Safa HTH Anyone else notice that watching the mancs was like watching Saints on telly this year - sort of disorganised aimless and flat???If nothing happens tomorrow then I will start to worry big-time.

Amesbury Saint Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 If nothing happens tomorrow then I will start to worry big-time. Administration has gone on a long time now. At the moment the creditors have got nothing in repayment of the debts. So is Fry any good at his job?
Amesbury Saint Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Busy day tomorrow, night all Busy day at SMS or just another gentle snooze waiting for the call from a mystery buyer?
buctootim Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Administration has gone on a long time now. At the moment the creditors have got nothing in repayment of the debts. So is Fry any good at his job? Yes. He must be one of the biggest fee earners Begbies Traynor have got.
Viking Warrior Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Does anybody else think that all those pre season tours a few years back have had anything to do with the irish consortium taking over the club. I went o one pre season tour there it was such fun , So hopefully we can resume our links in southern ireland again once the new owners hand over their euros to mark fry. In dublins fair city where the girls are so pretty. I hope all the ITK's are correct about the Irish take over as I will be hacked off if I wake in the morning to find the foggy dew!!!!! If it is a false dawn then will we as saints fans start chanting were all of to dublin in the green etc etc OH please let it be the irish .
diggers Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 I think you'll find tomorrow is pay day at SMS, this is why tomorrow is, or could be critical.
Delmary Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 I think you'll find tomorrow is pay day at SMS, this is why tomorrow is, or could be critical.Tomorrow is make or break day!
kpturner Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 I think you'll find tomorrow is pay day at SMS, this is why tomorrow is, or could be critical. If that was significant then it is already too late.
kpturner Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 I think you'll find tomorrow is pay day at SMS, this is why tomorrow is, or could be critical. Tomorrow is make or break day!So this thread has gone from grammar lessons, to botany, back to grammer - and now it is a competition to see who can say the same thing using different words! :-)

Amesbury Saint Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 I think you'll find tomorrow is pay day at SMS, this is why tomorrow is, or could be critical. given that the bank transfer would have happened a day ago, pay day is not now a critical day.
kpturner Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 So this thread has gone from grammar lessons, to botany, back to grammer - and now it is a competition to see who can say the same thing using different words! :-) Ooops!...and back to spelling - since I got it right once it must be a typo ;-)
trousers Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 I think you'll find tomorrow is pay day at SMS, this is why tomorrow is, or could be critical. won't the bank have already refused/declined the BACS mandate due to the advance notice required?
trousers Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 given that the bank transfer would have happened a day ago, pay day is not now a critical day. jinx
kpturner Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 won't the bank have already refused/declined the BACS mandate due to the advance notice required? I rest my case - it is definitely now a competition to see who can say the same thing using different words
