Master Bates Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 I'm currently having the rest of yesterdays Sunday roast for breakfast and I also know that cold pizza is a good breakfast. Is that right or wrong?
Mole Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 Cereal for breakfast is wrong. Horrible foreign muck. Toast and pate/marmite/jam/marmalade/paste/honey for weekdays and a full English for weekends.

EastleighSoulBoy Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 I once tried a Doner Kebab. It was foul. Many years ago I went out for a date with a girl who asked me to buy two Donor Kebabs for her, one wrapped. She put it in her car's glove box for on the way to work in the morning! saint lard Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 I can't seem to manage the remainder of a chicken Phall the next morning, probably because i'm logging out on the can for the majority of time. It hurts.

Ponty Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 Cereal for breakfast is wrong. Horrible foreign muck. Toast and pate/marmite/jam/marmalade/paste/honey for weekdays and a full English for weekends. Paté sounds a bit foreign to me.
Saint Martini Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 Cereals for working days, quick and easy. Warmed up pizza from the day before is always good and I always try to get my GF to make me pancakes in the weekend.

Wiltshire Saint Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 Any food can be eaten at any time. IMO You sound like Ponty. I, like Stanley, hate all that foreign muck for breakfast. I only eat English foods. I think this is an important way of demonstrating my Englishness and patriotic nature.
norwaysaint Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 I eat a full English Roast Dinner for all three meals EVERY day, except on Fridays when I have proper English Fish and Chips three times a day. In between meals I eat proper British Kedgeree and Bangers and Mash.

Kadeem Hardison Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 I insist on pure English white bread for my toast. I also don't toast it as that turns it brown.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 Chinese takeaway ain't bad for breakfast, pizza too is great. If you want an amazing breakfast go to a Wetherspoon's and have the large breakfast, you can even have a pint with it if you want. I think I once had leftover bolognese in a sandwich for breakfast once, that's not right.

revolution saint Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 Breakfast? Too much hassle - I'd rather have a lie in, turn up late for work then grab something unhealthy.

Guest Dark Sotonic Mills Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 I like a good old fryup for breakfast, however a toasted chilli con carne sandwich is a very palatable alternative.

hamster Posted 25 May, 2009 Share Posted 25 May, 2009 (edited) My nan used to give me toast that she would only toast on one side - never really understood why? I like my toast done on one side too. Hard to find when eating out nowadays due to the technological advancement called taosters. At home, I always egt the old "If you want it done under the grill, then do it your self" ********. I hate that. As a kid I would toast a slice of bread (on one side), then smear it with peanut butter and toast it again. I am salivating just typing that recipe. Note. One must use SunPat peanut butter for your daily spread. Some people like it crunchy, and others may prefer it smooth. Luckily, SunPat have both, just choose: Edited 25 May, 2009 by hamster

Kadeem Hardison Posted 28 May, 2009 Share Posted 28 May, 2009 I like my toast done on one side too. Hard to find when eating out nowadays due to the technological advancement called taosters. Do these give the bread a dark side and a light side that work together in harmony to create the perfect piece of toast?

jawillwill Posted 29 May, 2009 Share Posted 29 May, 2009 Do these give the bread a dark side and a light side that work together in harmony to create the perfect piece of toast? Or as I like to call it, a peace of toast.
SNSUN Posted 29 May, 2009 Share Posted 29 May, 2009 Breakfast is for wimps. I never eat breakfast, just a quick cup of caffeine suffices usually. Shift work doesn't help.
