PaulSaint Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Amazing isnt it, next year we play Leeds, Norwich, Charlton, Millwall, etc. Are we in the Prem, no, we are one league & ten points behind ruddy S****horpe!!!!!
Andy_Porter Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Anyone know why Jo Mills wasn't playing for Scunny?
SuperMikey Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Scunny deserve the promotion, they played a blinder out there today and if it weren't for Gary Alexander then Millwall would never have had a shout. Congrats to Nigel Adkins. However, I won't be going to Millwall as the fans are pikey scum.
David Strover Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Congratulations to S****horpe United. That is how you do it after a relegation.....
lee_saint Posted 24 May, 2009 Author Posted 24 May, 2009 Anyone know why Jo Mills wasn't playing for Scunny? Injured I believe, I saw something at the bottom of SSN about him this morning.
Andy_Porter Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Injured I believe, I saw something at the bottom of SSN about him this morning. That's a shame for him, hopefully we can tie him up to a contract I think he will be good for us next season if Scunny don't poach him.
J Bizzle Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 That's a shame for him, hopefully we can tie him up to a contract I think he will be good for us next season if Scunny don't poach him. Do s****horpe have between £500 and £1000000 to spend on a 19 year old left back that isn't proven at champ level?

crouchi Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 A slight positive - S****horpe finished 20 points behind Leicester, so we could give the others a 25 point start and still threaten, if we can get all the rest of it together!

There won't be a team like Leicester in League One next season, noone will be as strong, even Norwich and Leeds.....it's going to be a tight season.

Saints foreva Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 The yoof better do us proud at Millwall next season.
ottery st mary Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Mills got injured a couple of games ago and his fitness has been in doubt even up to today......but he has done well for them and hopefully back with us next season.
Mase Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 I was cheering for Millwall to be honest! The only thing I’m pleased about is that I won’t have to go to S****horpe this year… S****horpe makes Bermondsey look posh.
Andy_Porter Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 There's only one Vicky Pollard. That was so funny, definatly one of the Championship highlights for me. Quality game/day as well, when we used to be good-ish. Theo
RedAndWhite91 Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Yessss my mate is a Millwall fan, it's going to be well good, just hoping we can do the double over them so I don't get a load of stick from him, can't wait.
Chorlton Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Scunny deserve the promotion, they played a blinder out there today and if it weren't for Gary Alexander then Millwall would never have had a shout. Congrats to Nigel Adkins. However, I won't be going to Millwall as the fans are pikey scum. Isn't it Gillingham that are renowned as pikey scum? We need to know the sweeping generalisations of the lower leagues.
docker-p Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 There's only one Vicky Pollard. Now that was bloody hilarious. Nothing beat the old Den for a bit of an adrenalin pump though.
aintforever Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Another good away trip next year if the club is still around. There's a whole load of localish games next year, in total, 16 clubs level with or south of Birmingham.
Mole Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 There's no hungry horses/brewers fayres for the yoof to take over in Millwall so i expect all the posturing will be just that.
70's Mike Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Millwall fans are more fickle than ours. 50k at Wembley 10k average
sambosa75 Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Millwall is so overhyped its untrue. I went a few seasons back (we won 2-0 or 2-1, cant really remember. Think Walcott scored, remember singing "Theo, give us a wave, Theo, Theo, give us a wave" as he had the ball. He literally stopped mid-dribble and waved at the fans!) I went to the game with such trepidation, constantly looking over my shoulder. From the moment you set foot on the train to the stadium you are seperated from the home fans and then caged in for the half-mile walk from the station to the stadium so no-one can get to you. Nothing to worry about for this one, unless you go looking for trouble.
Papa Shango Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Millwall was a good trip when I went before so I'm pleased they've not gone up. Lots of fairly local games next season with Brighton, Millwall, Bristol Rovers, Swindon, Brentford, Wycombe, Gillingham, Leyton Orient, Yeovil etc. Should be some good away days if nothing else.
Papa Shango Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Millwall fans are more fickle than ours. 50k at Wembley 10k average Every club in the country has people jumping on the bandwagon when there's a big game.

krissyboy31 Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Gutted!! That's my short hop over the Humber Bridge gone for a burton.
Dalek2003 Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 I'm really looking forward to going to Leyton Orient.
Mao Cap Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Was in the 'wall end today. Great day out, good atmos and game, messed up by the team I'm supporting f*cking losing as always fair play to scunny though, they were the better side.
lordswoodsaints Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Scunny deserve the promotion, they played a blinder out there today and if it weren't for Gary Alexander then Millwall would never have had a shout. Mole Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 I'm really looking forward to going to Leyton Orient. What has this got to do with Glen Hoddle?
Massimo Osti Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Now that was bloody hilarious. Nothing beat the old Den for a bit of an adrenalin pump though. Most mongs on here would have never been there,
SFC Forever Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 I was cheering for Millwall to be honest! The only thing I’m pleased about is that I won’t have to go to S****horpe this year… S****horpe makes Bermondsey look posh. Which part of Bermondsey are you refering to? The place is a dump.
SFC Forever Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 Most mongs on here would have never been there, I was taken there when I was a minicab driver working the area. I was told to wear my colours and did. The boys there can be good if they know you. I got smashed and had to get my car two days later which they found hilarious.
Gudz Posted 24 May, 2009 Posted 24 May, 2009 I live a 25 min walk from the ground so I'm not overly disappointed that they stayed down, although I've a good few mates who were at Wembley this arvo that don't share my point of view! Lol. So nice to have an away game that I can walk to next season!
70's Mike Posted 25 May, 2009 Posted 25 May, 2009 Every club in the country has people jumping on the bandwagon when there's a big game. 5 times their regular support though
Legod Third Coming Posted 25 May, 2009 Posted 25 May, 2009 There's only one Vicky Pollard. Ha, LMAO. And the fella in the pink jumper - one of the best days out ever. And what a goal from the wonderkid!! Happy days.
ottery st mary Posted 25 May, 2009 Posted 25 May, 2009 Which part of Bermondsey are you refering to? The place is a dump. Rotherithe had a couple of nice bunches of flowers on display the other day as I passed through:D
Baird of the land Posted 25 May, 2009 Posted 25 May, 2009 Am i the only one worried Mills will now sign for Championship S****horpe rather than stay with league 1 saints.
Crab Lungs Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Had to smile at the comments about Millwall away.... was it 'whos the ****** in the pink?' etc... brilliant, very funny.... he went right off on one...
Cricketphilly Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 However, I won't be going to Millwall as the fans are pikey scum. Your scared? BTW Pink jumper man was brilliant!
SFC Forever Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 To be fair I lived in the blue for a while. Three of our kids went to Galleywell school of the Galleywell road. Back to the subject and having seen the playoffs I feel slightly concerned that we could have a right good struggle with our present squad.
SFC Forever Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Rotherithe had a couple of nice bunches of flowers on display the other day as I passed through:D To be fair, I lived in the "Blue" for a while. Kids went to Galleywell school where they learnt nothing of use to normal families. Couple of good boozers there ut not for non Millwall fans.
