Most of them I do not trust/believe. However we have always had on here a small group of posters who knew some of what was going on, and posted those facts without fabrication. i.e. I.T.K.ers you knew and trusted. However this small band seem to have disappeared, and even if they do post it is with some jovial unrelated remark. Why are all these people silent.. The large hoard of fantasist are thankfully quiet, but so worryingly are the more informed. Why are they quiet? Do they know whats going on and are bound to secrecy? Or are they just as in the dark as much as we are? Curiouser and curiouser. P.S. Q. Why is it called Politics? A. Because 'poly' means 'many', and 'tics' are blood suckkers. I think it's gone quiet because most of the ITk's had links to the Pinacle group and nothing is now happening there. A bit silly to talk of investors taking 'fright' it's hardly going to help replacing them. I think it's blink, threshold and last minute time. 1/ Given that the main asset of the club is actually the fans, the preservation of the club has to be top priority, but we are facing the June12 deadline. So the pressure is on and it's a question of who is going to blink first. Will fry lower the price or will someone up their bid. Fry runs the risk of ending up with nothing if he plays hardball too long. 2/ But Fry won't reduce the price below what he could obtain by liquidating the club. This is guesswork but I guess the unofficial pinnacle offer of 7-8 million is just in excess of that. Fry could therefore come down considerably. 3/ If June 12 is a real deadline, perhaps completiopn needs to be by June 5, which means serious talks with any late comers need to start before the end of May. If you know something factual, why should you be worried about people, who presumably you believe know less, criticising you?

These are hardly likely to change the outcome of financial negotiations with the Administrator so where's the harm? Now can you spill the beans please.

Some people want all info NOW without realising that confidences could be broken if that happened. I would prefer some info than no info at all but people are rarely grateful.
