jeff leopard Posted 25 May, 2009 Posted 25 May, 2009 nice work! i've not heard the gun club since my brief goth shame, and what an amazing tune. always a joy to hear 'what goes on' and 'freak scene', and that fleetwood mac tune sounds like the sabbath. and its my turn next!
Pancake Posted 26 May, 2009 Author Posted 26 May, 2009 Tracklist? Its a linear series of music tracks to be performed on record, CD, tape or digitally. HTH.
Ponty Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Cheers PC, that one's always stumped me. While we're on the subject, what "tracklist" have you cobbled together, in some vain attempt to be 'down with the kids'?

Ludwig Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth and UNKLE were good. Didn't rate most of the rest so much, not my bag.
Ponty Posted 26 May, 2009 Posted 26 May, 2009 Eh? Donovan? The Merseybeats? Hawkwind? I was trying to shame/bully you into listing the tracks.. 3 artists down... Keep going.

Pancake Posted 27 May, 2009 Author Posted 27 May, 2009 Ah, "re-read" you meant Cheers No worries. Have you decided to install Spotify yet? Did the mix flow well enough for you?
Ponty Posted 27 May, 2009 Posted 27 May, 2009 Nah, what I recognise of your mix is ok but I just don't need the clutter.

Rattlehead Posted 31 May, 2009 Posted 31 May, 2009 Haven't had much time really but seems like a decent 60s kind of mix. The Green Manalishi is simply awesome.
Julian H. Cope Posted 31 May, 2009 Posted 31 May, 2009 I really f*cking enjoyed that. So much so, I want to ask Pancake out on a date. How about Thursday? The missus is away..................

Ponty Posted 31 May, 2009 Posted 31 May, 2009 I didn't have you down as a minimalist. It's desktop Feng Shui.

Thursday is OK, I'll have to back out of the pool compo at my local, but yeah why not. *blushes*
Julian H. Cope Posted 5 June, 2009 Posted 5 June, 2009 Copey never called afterwards... Yeah, thing is I ran out of rohypnol...raincheck?
Rattlehead Posted 10 June, 2009 Posted 10 June, 2009 Have now listened to this a fair bit. It is a very good mix. In addition to The Green Manalishi, standout tracks for me include those by Monster Magnet (keen to check out more of their stuff actually, as I am very impressed with this Dopes To Infinity track), The Stooges, Helmet and Sonic Youth. Good stuff generally. Ta very much Pancake.
