Presuming Worcs beat Ireland, will it come down to net run rate or is it the results between the two teams? The group winners are guaranteed a home tie in the quarters on Saturday.

If Worcester win we will be away to either Lancs or Somerset on saturday or Gloucester some time in June, as they have the England game at the weekend. Worcester 50-6 off 14.

Can only think the pitch was so conducive to seam/swing bowling they bowled Carberry and Ervine instead ?

Carberry bowls spin (off of the shortest run/walk-up I've ever seen!) so very strange that he bowled and Dawson didn't but it worked so can't complain. Middx is about the best draw we could have hoped for as long as ****gy doesn't have his usual blinder against us.

With no Strauss as well of course their team does look pretty weak and I agree it's the best draw we could have had. Udal probably will play a blinder but in bowling terms I'd much prefer to have Tahir.
