Yes it does appear to be surprisingly quiet, even the ITK'ers appear to have run out of snippets for us. I wonder if this is good news or bad news though?

 

All the ITKers were making it all up as they went along anyway, I think even they're bored now and can't be arsed to come up with anything anymore. Hopefully it'll get sorted tomorrow and we'll all find out out of the blue.

Sorry if this is posted else where but I'm on my phone so it's not easy to keep up. Just seen on SSN ticker that mark frys made a statement saying talks have stalled. Is this stuff we already know or has there been another anouncement today? Anybody know?

Not claiming to be ITK but i heard from a reliable source she was spending to much time as MB's avatar

 

I blame it all on Pinnacle, Mark Fry and Leon Crouch. They would still be together if Lowe was still here.;)

Perhaps some are - others I believe post in good faith, although I admit, rarely seem to hit the bull.

 

At least if we had some snippets we could debate and post instead of continually staring at the screen, hitting F5 and praying for the 'Saints bought out by supadupa zillionairre sugar daddy' thread to appear...!!

Sorted out tomorrow and announced on Takeover FRIDAY .... it will happen, I am so ITK that I even know what ITK means...... In That Knumber :D.

 

I think a new consortium has put in a bid of 20 quid, 2 Free "Go Large Upgrades" on your next Big Mac Meal and an I Spy Book of British Birds (sadly with all the pages on the duck family strangely missing).

 

From this I think we can rule out MLT as no matter how much he loves the club, he wouldn't be giving up that sort of offer and the duck link is abit worrying :(

 

Roll on Takeover Friday, and remember its a Rollover Takeover Friday yet again ... so don't miss it ;)

The Echo is claiming today that Jackson and Co have upped their bid for the club although it falls short of the asking price and they are awaiting a response from Fry.

It also states that the mystery overseas consortium are confident of pushing ahead with their plans to buy the club.

It says Fry will not be chasing Pinnacle any longer.

No SR, he will not, I did mention that minor point before. It was made very clear to other forum members who asked him face to face by Stuart Green on 7th May at the Forum Match

I apologise for my ignorance on this .... I did not know about the May 7th questioning ..... Are you saying that Jackson denied that Lowe would be back ????

I can tell you catagorically that if the Green/Jackson led bid leads to a purchase Lowe will not be part of it in any way shape or form. Nor will he be involved now or in the future. I hope this kills your obsession once and for all.

Radio Solent also reporting that LLS has put in a new, higher bid. The reporter also said that he saw a pink Rolls Royce (Lady Penelope??) with Arabic number plates when he was going to work. He said that he was tempted to follow it to SMS as it is rumoured that money for the MJ lot is from the Middle East!

OK WS, thanks for the info ....

 

Problem is, a few short seasons ago, I, along with others confronted Michael Wilde in the Uni Bar, and asked him more or less the same .... would Lowe ever be back ... his reply ... "Not as long as I am involved with Saints"

 

You must admit, that turned out to be as true as a politicians expense sheet, so, PLEASE excuse me if I treat all such up to date utterances re Lowe with caution

 

It's common knowledge I do not want him anywhere near Saints .... my "obsession" as you call it will cease when the New Owners are in place, and Lowe is emptying bins at WH Ireland

Stuart Green is the authorised spokesperson for the consortium. HE made that statement.

 

MJ equally does not want Lowe back in any capacity either.

 

Just to be completely clear however, again as posted before, Stuart & MJ know/have spoken to ALL the previous major shareholders on numeroous occassions, and they were responsible for hosting and inviting them to the meetings at Runnymede and elsewhere to try and negotiate common ground during the "Execs" time and the SISU bid.

 

Also so we are completely clear, because of how he is regarded, I have told Marc to his face sometime ago AND posted on here that he was a W***R over the Bournemouth thing and my one valid input that evening into their current efforts was that Marc should never ever EVER be allowed near to a microphone or a reporter EVER again

First question - which side of the road was it driving? If it was a true Arab it would have been on the right and to hell with the traffic

Second - due to the homophobic nature of this part of the world it is more likely to be somebody's wife out shopping. Arab in a pink car.... nice one didn't think it was still 1st April

It matters not whether I trust him or not. it doesn't even matter if FRY trusts him. It matters only whether he can get his group to DELIVER. So far they seem to keep being knocked back by Fry and yet still keep coming back. Thank God somebody is still fighting to save the club

 

I posted an "essay" yesterday about what likely is going on at Pinnacle. just transpose that and somebody somewhere is probably trying to do something to keep a grouping coming back into the ring.

 

But more than that, just think through the process.

 

Fry required proof of funds to even SIGN an NDA. How did these two guys prove they had 15mil? Answer, it was somebody else who would also have HAD to sign the NDA, so clearly is aware of what is being done in his/her name even if they aren't fully involved

 

Fry would have insisted on talking to the moneymen. How could MJ have "BS'd that?

 

Fry would have insisted that any actual offer was linked with details as to who would actually be sending in the money

 

There has only been one difference so far that I can see between Pinnacle & these guys - Pinnacle did all the talking in the media.
