I know this has been done to death a bit, but just wanted to make a quick observation.

 

In the wake of Saints getting rid of the bus deals, A2B who run the shuttle buses over the Itchen Bridge have put their prices up from 50p each way to a quid.

 

I know petrol prices are high at the minute, but still......

 

I guess I'll be getting fitter by walking over the bridge this season.

Speaking of which, there were a couple of buses outside the station loading up with Saints fans before the Brum league game. Are we still running a couple of them?

For the first game the bus I was on did not have the prices. So I didn't know about the return price so cost me £4 instead of £3 (for 2 of us).

Emailed Saints before Claus' Testimonial and got a reply saying they would still be running the shuttle buses to and from the station and ferry - just not as many as before.
