One of the biggest problems with information on Saints ownership is that those enthusiastic to inform and those anxious to receive forget that we are in shifting sands.

What may be perfectly good and honest information from sources can quickly be changed by events.

Trying to hit a moving target blindfolded while being pushed downhill on a skateboard.

It is NOT easy, it is perfectly clear that these consortiums have come together very quickly, it doesn't seem to be "one rich person" and even if it was, they would still have to get a team together.

You'd need someone with SOME knowledge of the club (eg MLT) as well as people with some form of sports management background and also some form of businessmen simply to cover all the tasks and experience needed to be involved in the running of a club.

So you have to get all your own bits sorted out, then have to sit with Fry and then work out the implications of the negotiations on your legal status, playing squad budget, break-even points, ticket prices etc.

One small concession in the fry meeting could change your whole squad building plan which then throws into doubt your cash-flow plan.

It isn't easy

I think they have passed that stage hopefully I just think it is now down to the wording of any contracts.

Having been involved in selling major computer sysytems I know how long it can take to get the final contracts in a state acceptable to both parties.

In other words you are ITK even if you're not ITK. Thanks for clearing that one up.:D

Too true. In my experience, people only sign contracts when they are more afraid of losing the deal than they are of the consequences of making the deal in the first place. There is always an element of doubt when you commit to a contract, regardless of how carefully you've checked it over - but the potential reward needs to be great enough to make that doubt insignificant. Let's hope they want Saints badly enough...

From the comments Fry makes to the media even he does not seem ITK at times:rolleyes:

Ron,

We all know how he feels.

I'm glad I'm being kept well in the dark presently, although I'm getting comfort for my understanding that you may think the Pinnacle guys are OK for us ?.

Kind Regards

perhaps he does post here.

Lets start the guessing game of who on here is Fry!

(all made up!)

OK, OK, I confess. It's me! Norm Fry.

I really wish someone would start a new thread. Titled, "Wake me when it's all over" or "I know Jack **** about anything to do with a takeover/buyout".

I heard last night that Totton FC S/T's cost £80 per season. Ummm, interesting. If this all goes tits up, I could be at Totton next Aug'.
