Morph Posted 14 May, 2009 Posted 14 May, 2009 IMHO, Salz cannot raise the £8 million that is alleged to have been raised by Pinnacle (well as Deputy Chairman of N M Rothchild he could raise a great deal more if he wanted to send us into major debt), but he can raise at least £5 million which I suspect includes Leon. He can certainly produce a very good and proven team of Directors, most of whom are not local businessmen, but are all season ticket holders and big Saints fans. I suspect Salz is waiting for the Pinnacle bid to fail. I hope the Pinnacle bid is the best for our club, but if it is not and it fails I believe the Salz consortium will become active. We shall see. These people unsettled the club for over a year and they had friends on here telling us don't worry they are there, they are nearly there etc etc. These people had activily been saying they were going to mount a bid do not try and rewrite history saying they were not
derry Posted 15 May, 2009 Posted 15 May, 2009 I understand Salz wouldn't want to buy the stadium so presumably the purchase of the club/associated debt, training ground only. The council to come in and pick up the stadium. This is probably Fry's contingency plan.
