bungle Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 Worcs batted this morning, making 246-8, Taylor pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets for 37. Getting a bit greyer in the West Country now, so might be a rain affected Hants innings...
Give it to Ron Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 Billy has been the pick of the bowlers in the games I have seen at the Rosebowl this season. Cork and Tremlett were disappointing.

Window Cleaner Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 A disaster, poor 1 day batting again. Crawley isn't a 1 day batsman any more. We get behind the run rate from the start and then have to go for dopey shots.
Lets B Avenue Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 The run rate wasnt the problem. Losing 4 wickets early left us without the wooden thing in the smelly stream. Also we let them off the hook after having them 125-5. 175 was all they should have got. Cant agree about Crawley. Need someone to hold an end up, like he did in the home match v. Worcester when he got a ton. Lack of penetration in the bowling without "Sick Note" Tremlett is more worrying. Hopefully Tahir back at the weekend. Is his jaw mended then, great, but we still need something on the batting side.
