Junior Mullet Posted 14 May, 2009 Share Posted 14 May, 2009 Their costs are slightly higher down here in Southampton than those in Preston but the ranges are in proportion. Fry will be working on this together with other people within his firm. BT are a decent outfit and cheaper than the bigger accountancy firms. I have no doubt at all that Fry will do the best job he can with limited resources (limited bids in this case). If the club is not sold BT will not get paid. That's why IP's charge high rates - it's a risky area in terms of recovery of fees. It's also quite niche and therefore there is a limited market to choose from as opposed to the multitude of two-bit bean counters within the accountancy profession generally. Let's not get worked up about BT's fees - remember it was Rupert's comical mismanagement that lead to administration in the first place.
