I think it would be a great moral boost for the players, staff and fans to see the team in the play-off places even at this early stage, although its meaningless at this point in time the mental affects would be greatly positive, showing what the team can achieve!

Quite right, as it stands

15 teams have more points than we do just now. We may be on 6 points come Saturday 1700 hrs but whether less than 7 others will have the same tally or greater is extremely debateable, don't even know if it's a mathematical possibility, you'd have to go through the games one by one to work that out.
