Surely if St David was back we would have numerous mentions of opening bottles of chardonnay by now as that seemed to be all he ever said, apart from wait until tomorrow.

He nearly always finished a post with the "but everything is fluid" get of jail card also.

Always made me grin.

Damn. So the $500,000,000 Ugandan dollars I've been promised for releasing my bank details in return of investment in SFC is looking unlikely?

Also it's interesting to note that Badvoc visited Cabrones profile. This is a sign that there is an aquaintecy there. Badvoc was last online at 8.20 and i hadn't mentioned Cabrone til 8.30 which suggests a link independant from this investigation.

MJ is the first, and believe only confirmed bid.

It is not linked to MLT (Beckham maybe!)

MLT group is thought to be coming up with better offer more likely to succeed

As I understand it at mo from limited info,

I thought the 2nd bid was formally submitted yesterday, according to the Echo.

not read echo, so that is probably right. I was told MJ bid had gone is as first by someone who didn't know that I knew the name from here. They immediately added that the MLT bid was due and expected to win.

They described MJ as first bid - I wasn't sure whether there had been others, none were mentioned, nor did they say there were no others

hope that helps

Thanks. Therefore if my hunch is right and Jacko is Cabrone this is their honest manifesto....

Depends on how quickly you want to do it.

I'd rather have a decent board who genuinely care for the club but have less cash than a cash rich trinket collector who just wants a toy.

This club desperately needs to stabilize and rally behind one manager.

If we had that then I'd be happy to be patient about a prem return (10 years+).

Basically (if i'm correct in Cabrones i.d) it translates to this consortium not having a pot to **** in. Beggars can't be choosers and all that but i'd hope the MLT consortium (if they make a move) can offer more.

Without wishing to sound too harsh, any bid involving Jackson can safely be written off as a fantasy.

If he has any involvement in bid#1 then I favour bid#2, even if this is a consortium of Lowe, Hitler, Davros and Osama bin Laden.

Help me out here guys, why do I keep seeing Beckhams name mentioned.

I know he was at the Emirates a couple of nights ago but come on!

Jackson (AKA Lifelongsaint,as he was known then) was adamant and kept alluding to the fact that Beckham would be somehow involved in the, then, takeover at SFC . Be it brought in by the new owners in some capacity

Jackson came across as being as mad as a box of frogs.

you have to remember the bidders had to prove funding 2 weeks ago to get to the stage of due diligance so even if jackson is remotely involved which is

highly unlikely they do have proof of funding to get to stage 3 which is negotiating final figure

Don't panic.

I know who is dealing with this. I took him out to dinner on Tuesday. Marc Jackson was no where in sight.

That is all I am prepared to say.

excuse me for joining this a bit late and this has probably been answered somewhere already but to clarify does this mean the bid that is suppsed to have MJ involved actually doesnt or MJ is part of a different bid os something completly different?

Not after details but just a little confused. (easily done i know)

Correct.

But i do feel with Jacko it'd be all about today and cross that bridge when we come to it for tomorrow. i.e they'd bring next to no funds into the club over and above the initial purchase.

Was StDavid the fella who got all narky called every one 'my dear cyber warrior'?

he was the one that took it on himself to go research the shiite out of every little snippet and came back thinking he knew more than he did. turned out that if he was genuine he was fed horse shiite the whole time so ended up looking a bit of a plank

Jackson can't be involved, seriously if he was he wouldn't be able to stop himself from posting all the details on here.

I do miss the LLS/St David days though, a Photocopier salesman and a MOT Mechanic!

Oh the memories

Do you like chardonay?

Did you stand in the choco box?

Do you have ginger hair?

Is your ip address in the states?

Do you have a compulsion to take Franks Cousin to task?

Do you personally know Bill gates?

If you answer these questions correctly you are indeed a plant!

Poor chap my ar*e :D

The pair of them displayed the typical behaviour of small time businessmen (and that's probably flattering them) who had delusions of grandeur and wanted to portray themselves as movers and shakers.

The LLS Manifesto was probably the funniest thing I've ever read in my life!

to be fair I feel sorry for saintlee as I think he was sucked into a few peoples elaborate windup/wannabe dreams and fantasys.

I want to buy the saints and spend billions on them to make them universal champions of all of time and space. I just havnt got the chatter to be able to convince others that I can actually achieve it. lol

If - laughably - Jackson is involved in any way at all, then the good ship Southampton has long since departed the port of tragedy and is now grounded on the beach of total farce.
