Windmill Arm 2 Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 Prutton I would take. I know people didn't rate him in the past, but we aren't in the Prem now people. What I wouldn't have given for someone with half his bottle in the side this year. We signed Wotton, Robertson, Molyneux in the CCC. Imagine the gash we're going to be signing in L1. There are far worse players on their way in than Prutts I tell yee!! Prutton was a useless petulent c*** and I would rather have Ali Dia back. buctootim Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 D1 is all about technically limited but fit players in their prime running chasing and pressing. We'd be royally ****ed if we start forming a team around a bunch of 35 year olds who just want to stand in the centre circle and spray passes around. Whitey Grandad Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 ...never start a sentence with "And" you illiterate. Any more of that and I will reveal your true identity to the forum and watch your postings stop dead in their tracks ;-) Not necessarily wrong: 'And did those feet...' In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void. 'And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you...' And I think Tessem's probably passed it, but I wouldn't mind having a look at Telfer.
modern matron Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 .....has got to be Jo Tessem. Still wants to play for Saints and won't cost a penny. Can't understand why he wasn't taken up on his offer to play for bugger all halfway through this season (those who listen to Radio Hampshire will know what I mean). He's old and finished move on - he was crap before anyway.....

ottery st mary Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 Yay, we're sorted!!! Blend of youth and experience. Now get some young loans in like Barton, Bowyer and Prutton ..all paid for by their clubs. Bobs your uncle and we have team ready for Div 1 war....:smt075 Mind you we would only have a goalie left by half time.

hamster Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 Telfer is enjoying himself too much at Stoneham GC I think.....but I agree he would be useful in this league. We can go from the youngest squad to the oldest squad in less than 12 months. In Billy Davis's programme notes he lays claim to having the youngest team in the Championship this season though, so it can be done praps. kpturner Posted 6 May, 2009 Author Share Posted 6 May, 2009 Never start a sentence with "and" But many experts now say you may. And another thing: It's a question of style. Because it's done for emphasis. But then again style is something Saints fans have not seen much of recently. Is it. (Rhetorical question, so no ?)Very true - but OoohTerryHurlock didn't know that, and now you have lost him completely with your subtle examples. Junior Mullet Posted 6 May, 2009 Share Posted 6 May, 2009 Some will not be surprised at how competitive League One football is next year. Evidently a good number of posters on here will be surprised at the standard of football. I can see some people being disappointed when we don't walk the league. UpTheCherries Posted 8 May, 2009 Share Posted 8 May, 2009 You're right. Tessem barely made an impact on the pitch at Bournemouth. That said, he must have been a great influence in the dressing room since Bournemouth won 12 and drew 2 of the 22 games he was there for. He barely made the training ground let alone the dressing room. He was another of Kevin Bond's inspiring signings...:smt075

Red and White Army Posted 9 May, 2009 Share Posted 9 May, 2009 I rated Tessem; as long as he is fit, I would welcome him back. I rated Keegan but I doubt he would start for us either in Div 1. FFS alpine.
