Badger Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 I did but then I failed my English A level I hated Chaucer and TS Eliott I think I might have sat the same paper as you.I still recall the question "Discuss the contribution of Chaucer or Eliott to the rise and fall of Southampton F.C". Later learnt that Chaucer was a Wolves fan. http://www.wolves.co.uk/page/News/0,,10307~1300876,00.html

sadoldgit Posted 5 May, 2009 Share Posted 5 May, 2009 Yep, Adolf had a lot to answer for. A few well aimed bombs and the Dell might have been flattened and we would have moved to a new ground sooner! Still we got our own back by sending Alpine to Austria! Pay back too for The Sound of Music!!! Someone should write a book aout the Rise and Fall of SFC though. It has all the ingredients of a Greek Tragedy mixed with a Brian Rix farce! A little job for you during the summer break Duncan???
