TopGun Posted 4 May, 2009 Share Posted 4 May, 2009 I am going to try a vegetarian ratatouille diet for two weeks to see how much weight I lose. I am currently 13 stone. It might be a bit pongy near me though.

St Landrew Posted 4 May, 2009 Share Posted 4 May, 2009 A short arse at 5'8" so I need to lose about a stone. And maybe a little more too wouldn't go amiss. Look up the suitable weight ranges for your height, and I think you'll find 11 stone would be more appropriate. But don't be disheartened, I'm 6ft and 14 stone. I should be about 12½ stone or thereabouts.
hamster Posted 4 May, 2009 Share Posted 4 May, 2009 You're just a little short for your height TG, but if you wanna get in 'shape', you need to burn off some calories too. Exercise is the way forward, and you'd be surprised how little you need to do to shed those pounds.
bridge too far Posted 4 May, 2009 Share Posted 4 May, 2009 And what will happen when you stop your diet TG? Will you go back to eating your 'usual' diet? If so, and unless you up your exercise, you'll surely put the weight back on and more. Take it from one who knows
Smirking_Saint Posted 4 May, 2009 Share Posted 4 May, 2009 I did an hour a night exercise and found i lost quite a lot, like hamster said it does not need to be heavy exercise but any will do, plus eating a bit healthier.

And cutting down on portion sizes - that's the biggy.
