Squad Status, Transfers and HCDAJFU

You're welcome to Rasiak, McGoldrick I would like to keep. Could be a good player for us in League 1, probably not so good for you lot in the CCC. But he would work well with Earnshaw to do all the work for him up front, even though he couldn't finish a sandwich.

Then Earnshaw will be struggling next season, if he has to rely on McGoldrick,- idle toe-rag

I believe the problem this season was the fact that we were always struggling as a team to get some points. DMG has often worked back and helped clear our box. With a little more experienced help I feel he would have taken more of his chances. Next season he could do a lot better if he has someone to help him up front and a midfield that is actually worth calling just that.

Are you trying to say you think the problem with McGoldrick is that he works too hard?

For one how did he play every minute of every game? considering for one he started on the bench against sheffield utd away... and he has came off at least 3 or 4 times, this consiquently proving you wrong

He has also played left wing, right wing and in the hole alot this season so his goal scoring record isn't actually that bad.

14 players released by Brighton today - among them Chris Birchall (AMR) and Jason Jarrett (CM). Both CDDAJFU! Would love to see Jarrett here especially, he's never really settled at a club but is a consistent player and would do well in our midfield. Birchall might be a good L1 level replacement for Dyer as well, seeing as he's as good as gone.

Disagree.. good player, works hard and has scored 15 goals in a struggling team that isn't creative. He also looked good in midfield which is why i believe he will do well next year or in a more creative side. IMHO of course.

Karea Gillbert - Maybe ?? Was at Leicster but may want to go back

Jack Hobbs - Liverpool

Paul Anderson - Liverpool

Jonjo Shelvey - Doubtful but he looked really good against us (charlton)

Other than that look at the CCC clubs releasing players.

Is Stephen Carr likely to be staying at Brum ?? Though i expect he will go to another CCC team if not.

Me ?? I can play RB, RM, CM, CF

Well, that rules that out then.

Wouldn't have thought Liverpool would be loosing Jack Hobbs, seemed one for the future.

Scores quite alot as well...

Matt Richards, Ipswich, just released.

Good call, Billy Clarke would be useful at L1 level as well as Keane makes room for some has-beens. Hopefully we'll get a buyer soon so we can get the best frees available.

Matt Richards as has already been mentioned is a good shout, especially if Joseph Mills leaves on a free.

Lewis Gobern has been released from Wolves too. HCDAJFU.

His brother is our very own Oscar and so I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to join us.

Has potential and could do a job for us in League One.

Potential and Could are the words that frighten me , we need experience from any players coming in

Craddock from wolves ???

Sounds as though wolves want to keep him but i am sure his starts would be limited in the prem.

Perhaps if he left he may want to see out his days on the south coast ???

CDAJFU IMO

At least we'd have the inside track on negotiations... he's practically family to some people on here. ;)

Having just watched Chris Basham I googled Steve Basham out of curiosity, to see where he was and apparently he has just signed for us.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Basham

I am aware that wiki can be written by any tom **** or 'arry, and it was not me who wrote that, but it did spook me a little bit

Does anyone know where this could have come from, and more importantly if ithis is true could it mean that PT is preparing to come to us and bringing him either in a playing or possibly coaching role? Did they play together at all?

This club gets more surreal! the only thing is we can't sign anyone at moment!

Would love to see Andy Bishop here, proven goalscorer may leave Bury now they are not going up. Here is a few others i wouldnt mind us signing:

Jack Wilshere - Arsenal - on loan?

David Prutton - Leeds

Trésor Kandol - Leeds

Lee Barnard - Southend

Graham Kavanagh - Carlisle United

Brett Pitman - A.F.C. Bournemouth

Jack Lester - Chesterfield

David Connolly - Sunderland

David Edgar - Newcastle

Ched Evans - Man City

Zesh Rehman (CB) and Liam Miller (ex Man Utd) both released by QPR. Presuming (bar a miracle) we don't get JP permenantly, Rehman may be an affordable alternative. Miller is probably too expensive and there's been rumours of him moving abroad, but is ability at L1 is undoubtable.

Plus, although ridiculously injury prone and therefore probably unrealistic, Carl Cort has been released by Norwich...the type of player we need up front.

the young Welsh Internatinal who has got a host of games for Man City in the Premiership this season? Not very realistic.
