Tac-tics Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 After reading posts I have decided to start a thread to get Ricky Lambert to saints Woot for Lambert, we can all hope
Tac-tics Posted 2 May, 2009 Author Posted 2 May, 2009 Surely not that much, I would of thought just shy off a million, they are'nt the richest club in the FL.
Colinjb Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 We need to know who our owners are before we can speculate on transfers....
Tac-tics Posted 2 May, 2009 Author Posted 2 May, 2009 p.s this was me just being a nob and having fun, I do appreciate we need an owner
SFKA South Woodford Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Fully agree, when the dust settles, Saints should definetly try to sign him. He's just notched another as well.
lee_saint Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 He won't leave Rovers unless it's Prem, he's said it in the press, we have no chance and we're not a big club anymore.
Saintjersey Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Absolutely no chance in signing him unfortunately. Tbh I think Bristol Rovers are more likely to get promotion next year than us....... that's how low we have sunk.
SFC Forever Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Absolutely no chance in signing him unfortunately. Tbh I think Bristol Rovers are more likely to get promotion next year than us....... that's how low we have sunk. If we get sorted we will finish above Rovers of that I am sure. While not a big club we do have a larger fan base and as soon as bought we will be getting ready to buy our ST's. Don't be surprised to see as many bought as last season if not a few more.
saintjinksie Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 I've heard that messi bloke is on a good run of form as well...
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Simon Cox is a much younger and better player. He would be amazing to pick up!
lee_saint Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Simon Cox is a much younger and better player. He would be amazing to pick up! Again, looks likely to go to a higher level. We could start next season on -25 if we're not careful, what player wants to play for a team in that position!
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Again, looks likely to go to a higher level. We could start next season on -25 if we're not careful, what player wants to play for a team in that position! Agreed, I'm just sayin Cox is a better player if we wanted to sign one of them.
lee_saint Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Agreed, I'm just sayin Cox is a better player if we wanted to sign one of them. Of course, he's a cracking player, but IMO I reckon he'll end up at a Championship team by the start of the season.
Wildgoose Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Again, looks likely to go to a higher level. We could start next season on -25 if we're not careful, what player wants to play for a team in that position! Genuine question: What would need to happen for us to get another -15 points? I think I have missed something......
lee_saint Posted 2 May, 2009 Posted 2 May, 2009 Genuine question: What would need to happen for us to get another -15 points? I think I have missed something...... It's all to do with coming out of admin, it's quite hard to do it right, if we don't then the football league like to dish out 15 points, it's what happened to Luton this year.
