Ponty Posted 24 April, 2009 Share Posted 24 April, 2009 Any chance of tracklisting on this thread as we go along? One might make me feel it's worth downloading Spottyface for myself.

jeff leopard Posted 25 April, 2009 Share Posted 25 April, 2009 http://open.spotify.com/user/buzzino...KcJVG4BUVIbaZ9 Great start to the Spottify-Mixtape-Adventure Buzzin On It works well as a mix, and its always a joy hearing steve malkmus in any form Have you seen 'I'm Not Here'? Its really good if a little weird. A Wolf at the Door sounds really good outside of Hail to the theif, thats the joy of mixtapes i guess. i hope people aren't too sick of Bon Iver yet, i've got two of his tracks in my mix at the mo. carry on

Pancake Posted 28 April, 2009 Author Share Posted 28 April, 2009 I believe Pancake may have done some lazy c+ping in the first post. Sorry BO. Giving it a proper listen today, alright so far, not really my cuppa but I'll stick with it.
Johnny Shearer Posted 28 April, 2009 Share Posted 28 April, 2009 Ballad of a thin man/Brother Sport - I like. Methinks this SWF will throw up all sorts of music. If I find a singer/band/group etc that I like then excellent.
Pancake Posted 29 April, 2009 Author Share Posted 29 April, 2009 http://open.spotify.com/user/buzzinorn/playlist/0aoZg0AAKcJVG4BUVIbaZ9 that should definitely work OK, so after a few listens some notes from the first few tracks: 1 - OK, probably wont listen to it again though. 2 - Better, still a bit jingle jangle for me. Got better though, I like it 3 - Sounds like Trent Reznor masturbating on a come down. Liked. 4 - My 2 year old liked it. I didnt. 5 - Pavement, goody! Nah, too jingly jangly for me again 6 - Passable, but dont like the chaps voice 7 - Sorry, but totally put off my the vocals on this. Was a bit "twee" for me. 8 - Hmmm, started well but kind of leveled off. I would play this again for the beats though. Tracks 9 onwards kinda blended into one, so Im going to have to listen again. A quick note on the Dylan cover by Malkmus... shocking! :smt018 IMHO, naturally!

Julian H. Cope Posted 4 May, 2009 Share Posted 4 May, 2009 Just listened to it for a 2nd time. The three tracks that stood out for me were Architcture in Helsinki - Heart It Races, Holy **** - Lovely Allen & Air France - Collapsing At your Doorstep. Cheers.
