Thought i'd get the ball rolling on this...

For me it would be as follows:

Davis

Cork - Perry - Killer - Surman

Gillett - Wotton

Lallana - Schneiderlin - Holmes

McGoldrick

Subs: Bart, James,White, Peckhart, John.

svennson has not trained at all and has spent alot of time on the physios table.maybe another rest would be good

I think a CB partnership of Cork and Perry would be too short and would not win anything in the air against 6'3'' Burgess.

I would go with the same 11 that started against Derby, with a bench comprising: Bart, Cork, Wotton, and 2 of Thompson/John/Pekhart (depending on how the latter has looked in training).

My thoughts on swapping the team around slightly is that we have to remember these players are only young so whilst they are going to carry on getting better as the season progresses they are also going to get tireder so rotation can only be a good thing IMO.

Perry wins a lot of headers against taller players. It's incredible really how good he is in the air.

Blackpool are supposed to be playing 4-5-1 (this saturday) which proved difficult for our team to break down under previous recent managers. Let's hope 'Total Football' pulls them all over the place.

Not a problem. Our midfield/forwards are so hard to mark because they are constantly switching positions and running all over the pitch.

JP states on many interviews that the lads wish they could play every day!! I know that would eventually drain them but they seem to be full off energy at the moment. Tireder?? :)

There's a two week gap after the Blackpool game so I think we dont need to worry about resting anyone just yet.

It's good to have so many choices for the positions. What a change from last year.

I would rest Killer if he has been feeling it this week. We should be able to beat Blackpool without him and then he can benefit from the two week break before QPR too.

Bloody hell - we release a shedload of players and we've still got healthy competition for just about every slot!

Blackpool at home is the perfect game to see what Pekhart is all about. McG has to be in the team so the rest picks itself imo.

Me too, but would like to see what Pekhart has to offer for the last 20 mins.

How on earth can you not have Simon Gillett in the starting 11?

You don't even have him as a sub!

Haven't even got the likes of BWP, John, Euell, Rudi etc even on the bench. Spoiled for choice at the moment.

If everyone is fit then i'd start the same eleven that started against Debry.

I would like to see that too. It sounds like they played very well on Sat. Confidence should be very high. There is no point messing around with it.

I would like Pekhart (sp) to com on for the last 20-30 mins so we can see what he can do.

It will technically be 3-4-1 if Wright and Hammill are selected.

I dont think JP will drop James yet I dont think it would be good for team spirit.

Although he is good I think Cork will have to wait.

I know we need to win our games but developing a team is very important Cork is only on loan James is one of ours.

I see no reason to drop James either, Jack Cork will understand that he needs to wait to get a run in the side.

Chopping and changing a winning side to accomodate someone on the back of a good game isn't the best idea, imo.
