Saints Aid

The money goes to the club! How stupid can you get! The administrator will continue with his dutch auction until every last penny is gone, therefore any money you give to the club delays the takeover. Count me out.

"Should the club be bought or it's circumstances change before the night of the concert, it is our intention to use all proceeds raised to purchase season tickets and distribute them to schools, hospitals and childrens charities within the area."

Simon, is it okay to print the posters off and post them around? Or is there a proper downlodable file you want people to use?

I have a few posters with me. If anyone wants a A3 size poster for their company notice board/ local pub etc, please PM me.

Hampster is is fine to print if you wish. Find a higher res version at http://www.saints-aid.co.uk

I'm friends with the band who have recorded it and also help out with their promo, website, etc, so have just been sent a '1st cut' copy.

I'm not sure what the official release strategy/timescales are yet. I guess Simon and Co have more details/insight into that side of things

Do you need a ticket for the day event on Saturday or just pay at the gate?

Just been speaking to lead singer of BlindVision and he's very impressed with re wholeset up and he said the bands are being supplied with top quality amps and a drum kit already set up on stage.

Are you biased because you're one of them?

Not quite...I'm 'just good friends' with the band. Went to their first ever gig at the Storm Club, Leicester Square in London in March 2008 and then started running their message board. I do some part time promo for them and will be running their website shortly ahead of their first album launch in November.

A cracking unassuming bunch of guys. Their gigs are highly entertaining.

I like the song but have to ask what the thinking was behind going all Celtic, was it done with the cancelled Rod Stewart gig in mind? ;)

Is it just for download as kind of campaign anthem or are you selling it mail order and in local shops?

Two small criticism (constructive, and hope you don't take this the wrong way), the youtube video really does need some work, and the line about going "..I go down to Chapel End", would sound better " I go up the Northam End" as that is the part of the stadium that is renowned for their singing after all. The Chapel is, if we are honest, a wee bit quiet except when there is a 'kids for a quid' offer. By the way, who wrote it Lee?

The production sounds absolutely top drawer lads, and at the concert should be a massive hit, just make sure the lyrics are in the programme for all to join in.

I like the song. Although to me, it does have an air of things coming to an end rather than inspiring hope and unity amongst fans. I like the lyric about Chapel End though as it sounds like a place rather than a stand which makes in inclusive to a wider audience than just Saints fans.
