McAfee Problem

Does anyone use Mcafee?

 

It automatically searches for updates & downloads, but last week i lost my internet connection during the download.

 

The problem is, it appears to have now crashed.

 

I can't manually search for updates because it says it's downloading and I'm getting messages from Mcafee saying my software is out of date.

 

Any advice?

Can you not d/l the latest dat/engine from the mcafee webpage and just install them?

Try the FAQ on the McAfee web site. I had the same problem with Symantec/Norton and I had to uninstall completely then re-install and get all available updates. It had something to do with time algorithms IIRC.

 

Which is why I now use Kaspersky...
