If Mark Fry does manage to strike a deal that puts us in safe (non-Lowe by definition) hands, with a bit of rebuilding money and the hope of a positive future which at some point really materialises, does his contribution to SFC history stand along side the likes of Matt Le Tiss ?

Nowhere near, he's just a fookin accountant, he'll be getting his cut dont you worry. SOrt of people that ****ed Saints up in the first place

yeah,sure.

and what if Mr. Fry fails to deliver a new owner and the club goes under?

going by your (twisted, insane) logic,I assume he must then become a synthesis of Lowe,Portvliet,Branfoot & wilde MK 2 ?

It looks to me that the administrators are enjoying playing at football execs. Does anyone know which poor company they will be selling or asset stripping next?

I hope they get the best deal they can for the club but it's not us they are working for is it.

No, that is his job.

Infact it could be said that he's not doing a very good one, seeing as 34 people have enquired and only 2, possibly 3 are still interested.

From the other point of view, he may well have sorted out the wheat from the chaff and saved us from those not deserving to own a club like us?

Remember that time Mark Fry scored goal of the season against Blackburn? The one which had Timmy Flowers floundering in the net? Man he's given me so many good memories over the years...

Here he is in discussions with Rupert Lowe...

I take it you're joking?

Mark Fry is just a hired hand, appointed by the Court at the petition of Rupert Lowe and the other SLH Board members.

I am not suggesting it to be the case with Fry and Lowe, but it is not altogether unknown for administrators, whose primary duty is owed to the Court and creditors, to nevertheless look favourably on the individuals who appointed them when deciding how to dispose of company assets (in this case, a football club).
