I bet the lady pinnacle was found low down in the grass - the women golfers where you play never get the ball in the air!

Not far from the tee either, yesterday watching three of them looking for a ball, or balls in the little bushes in the middle of the first just off the tee, I said to the pro that they would be better playing bowls, he said 'you ever seen them putt, bowls would be a nightmare'

I'd grow 18" rough out to 150 yds every hole.

...if you asked 100 UK Households who knew nothing about football to name a Household name in Football, there would be only ONE answer.

If so Mrs H will be so happy, it will be the first time she would allow the squad picture on the bedroom wall and ceiling

Not a chance in hell of him taking us on. He has been repeatedly quoted as saying he would take over Leyton Orient if he was to purchase any club.

I bet they all had the driver out as well! A1 the place of my only hole in 1 so far..that £25 the club donate came in handy...my bar bill was only £23 so many tea drinkers on a Sunday morning.

I just wish the well known bloke would get a shift on and buy us and put us all out of our misery.

Waiting for tomorrow, anyone in harmony with the fanbase would know that Friday is takeover day.

I've got word that the consortium which MLT's backing will be making a formal offer to purchase today.

If this is true, then the consortium should go public.

If Le Tiss is backing a consortium, then you can gurantee that all Saints fans will instantly back this bid.

If it's good enough for Le Tiss, who obviously has Southampton's best interests at heart, then it's good enough for the fans. Right?

Don't they know it's only Thursday?

The official process is: Offer on Thursday. Announce on Friday.

:)

It would be quite ironic if we did end up being taken over on a Friday.

Would be a fitting ending to all this takeover talk anyway!

I am begining to hate Fridays, they have been disapointing for two years now. On another note I see Stockport County have just annouced that they too have gone into Admin, then of course they have to suffer the compulsory kick in the nuts by the FL with a ten point reduction for next season. When are these idiots in the FL and FA going to realise that football is in a crisis, they just seem to think that this bubble will never burst. Time to wake up you jerks, as bursting point is nigh.

So to recap todays activities its gone from the household name of Harpic to Sir Phillip Green to Sir David Frost to Kevin Keegan, Jamie Redknapp to Matty which will be announced tomorrow or next week  Lets face it no one really knows, lets just sit back and enjoy the rollercoaster ride which is Southampton FC

Just because MLT says it is good does not automatically mean it is the best for the club I would have thought as he does not know what the other bids consist of
