who would you guess?

Crouch, Fulthorope, Souness, some finance person we have never heard of?

My guess is Quentin Hubbard, property developer from Ch Islands

Souness to be the front man for a very wealthy foreign owner, currently undertaking"fit and proper persons".This would be the one that Mr Fry alluded to as a "a very suitable candidate"

The other bidder undertaking due diligance, with extreme wealth, but no prior footballing connections.

As we all wait with baited breath for those to post who perhaps have a little more inside info!

I would imagine that very few outside the administrators and the bidders themselves, actually know and those that do have been sworn to secrecy.

a consortium of Michael, Tito and Janet Jackson, they're going to knock down the gasometers and build a big fair ground next to St Mary's and hold Jackson only concerts in the stadium to generate an extra £25 revenue over the next 10 years.

You heard it here first... and, quite possibly, last.

No, I really don't think we do. All you will get is a load of nudge-nudge wink-wink ******** that is completely unfalsifiable or unverifiable from the usual suspects.

No thanks.

I had a text last week saying that someone called Jim Ratcliffe is going to buy us, but i cannot find anything out about him.

Ive no idea, and neither it seems has anyone else on here. What a refershing change that is from the previous leak and whisper cowboys who have toyed with us in the past. Makes me very hopeful.

Better than that is that the Press also know F-all. As I've said on a previous thread Mark Fry is the most professional person to be associated with this club in years.

my favoured punts - Salz, Scott are I think now bringing up the rear.

Dennis Roach has not been ruled out yet but I think there is one big one left who we all would like but I haven't a clue who it is. Those NDAs are holding firm.

Have you heard of this guy? If Salz and Scott are not going to take over it might be this Jim Ratcliffe (possibly Radcliffe) fella.

TBH I really don't care who buys us, or whether we've heard of him before.

I just hope with these articles about missing money or worries about fines and pitch invasions, nothing comes along that throws a spanner in the works.

This whole Stewart WGS thing doesn't go away though, so maybe I'll have a bullfrog on them so to speak

You think.

Does his business sound familier :

Beware the asset stripper

My bet would be as that of Duncan, with Salz now at very long odds, unless he can combine with another consortium with access to geater funds.

All IMHO of course

Morph

I dream of us having assets to strip!

so your bet is same as FF - someone he doesn't know?

Poor try Morph, must do better. Trying to blow out someones elses candle doesnt make your burn brighter.

I have no idea whether Ratcliffe is involved in anyway, personally I doubt it. However he isnt an asset stripper. He normally buys up legacy plant, old technologies from blue chip companies and runs them for cash. Highly leveraged certainly, but not an asset stripper. If anything he keeps open slightly dodgy factories which should have been closed years ago.

Beware the asset stripper but its ok to trumpet, ad nauseum, the cause of someone without a pot to P*ss in?
