To get away from the takeover/Lowe/Pearson/pitch invasion talk,

What has been your favourite moment of the season? If any.

For me, has to be that Mcgoldrick winner at Preston - crazy stuff.

The pitch invasion and crowd trouble was top notch ;-)

For me, it's a tie between Saeijs' equaliser at Watford and the away win at Reading.

The fans reaction to both was unreal. Good times!

The win at Reading was probably it for me a good day all round, its that or the win against Brum in the league cup when I was filled with optomism that we could actually do something this season =(

the only good moment of the season was preston away. the first time we have come back like that since '94, what a day.

Doncaster game at home and the two idiots in Itchen South who started waving their Season Tickets after Donny's 2nd goal. The whole block started telling them to sit down and shut up so they invited us all outside to a chorus of cheerio, cheerio, cheerio. Overall we have some fantastic fans and that particular sing song warmed the heart.

Still not sure what the waving of their Season Ticket was supposed to symbolise - uber and ultra righteous fans, look me I'm more impotant than you? Who knows but it lightened a dark and disappointing afternoon.

The final whistle at Derby. A bunch of kids had just outplayed a team that had just dropped from the Premiership and was expected to be in the hunt for promotion. I was bouncing around gleefully thinking to myself 'maybe we can do this'.

It all fell apart quite soon after that, but for that moment I was happy.

Saejis against Watford for me.

Same for me. The whole 'us not losing vs Watford' is a small something I'll take out of this season. A miniscule personal victory.

Theres a few good moments from this season that made me feel good.

The win over Birmingham and Derby and Reading away. Those wins made me think that at least some of the kids we played had some talent. Its a shame it didnt last.

The equaliser v Swansea at home. The whole of block 4 was jumping around, hugging strangers and flicking the Vs at the sheep. Great times.

And the home wins v Norwich, Preston, Cardiff and Palace.

And the win at Preston even though I wasnt there :( .

Hopefully we'll have a good day at Forest on Sunday in my annual away game :)

Winning at Reading and breaking their unbeaten home run. I was in hospitality for that game and when we scored the second I nearly knocked Lawie Sanchez over!

Hasn't happened yet, but it will be the final whistle at the City Ground next weekend, when we can put the whole debacle of this season behind us and move on (hopefully!).

either the win at reading or saga's goal at home to preston when he ran from the half-way line to the edge of the six yard box and slotted the ball between the keeper's legs and into the back of the net.

Reading Away, just the whole performance.

Lallana's and Robertson's goals against Qpr and Norwich were special too.

Posted

Maybe the Norwich win with Robertson's good goal, but even then it was a pitiful crowd and the odd win just papered over the gaping cracks in the Revolutionary Coaching Set Up.

By far the worst season in living memory and one that can't end soon enough for me.

I put money on us going up and bought a holland shirt after that game and thought JP was a genius and RL might not be all bad. Shows how wrong you can be.

Finding out the Derby result while in a dull hotel for a business meeting

But the funniest in an ironic sort of way was last Friday against Wolves, we're in the pub, EricofArabia comes back from the loo just before kick-off and says....

Well at least we can't possibly be as bad as the last time we were here to watch Saints on telly against QPR with the whole 35 sec oh bolox.......

When it ends next week, it has been far and away the worst season in 46 years of supporting the club. [ As a sideline all the major shareholders who lost money[ bar Crouch]I

have absolutely no sympathy for].

Winning at Reading. I think the best moment was when BWP scored his second. To find our selves 2-0 when Reading had won something like 8 of their first 9 home games was great. Especially after reading the predictions of a 7-0 home win on their forum.

Very little cheer other than that for me. Only other win I went to was Cardiff, whoch was settled 1-0, by a penalty.

The Bloke sat behind me shouting "Run Forest Run" every time McGoldrick raced alone for or with the ball.

I lke that, could be our chorus for next week but will they get it?
