lee_saint Posted 26 April, 2009 Posted 26 April, 2009 The non-league paper reporting a strange one, the Blue Square being sounded out if we go bust, Eastbourne Borough away anyone? The Football Conference has been sounded out about the possibility of taking in Southampton should the club collapse during the close season. (The Non-League Paper)
Griffo Posted 26 April, 2009 Posted 26 April, 2009 That's good. Normally new teams have to start far lower, but Blue Square would be a very high start for a new club.

Exactly, my thoughts were that any club wanting to start the season in the Blue Square had to pretty sound on the money side of things. Hence why Boston United went straight into Conference North when they went down.
