Have to say we look like we have a squad that has good competition for places everywhere now with the enthusiasm and skill of youth interspersed with a few stalwarts here and there.

Yes but right wing (or right midfield) is still up for grabs.

 

Perhaps Wotton/Gillet in Midfield and Morgan S on the right as tonight.

Mills is a great prospect for left back, I agree we would be in trouble if Surman leaves.

Actually I think we are well covered there:

 

I understand Lallana played there this evening not Schneiderlin as Sky mentioned

and Thomson, Dyer, White, Mcgoldrick and BWP can all play there too

 

Agree that left back has less experienced cover but great if Cork can cover too

 

Generally things are really taking shape though......

Cork can play there apparently. Surman and Mills obviously. That's some good options. If surman left we'd surely sort out a replacement

That does look right - Cork and Pekhart are clear evidence that Lowe and Wilde are not just looking to sell, but are trying to strengthen as well. Someone going opens up the option of bringing players in, but it would be nice if Skacel and Euell were the ones to go, not Surman.
