Arizona Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 More of the same please, by the sounds of things.
Under Weststand Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Looks like things haven't calmed down any at the start of this half
Gully Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Need a couple of goals for GD purposes.. Next week every goal we score against Nottingham Forest counts double so a big win here isn't that important, a win is though.
dubai_phil Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 BWP misses great chance after 5 seconds heads over more niggles Alexander booked
Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Alexander gets booked, a bit of handbags aswell.
gjphilsaint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 The Norwich result is crucial if they look like they are down at the end of the weekend...as long as we win today and are still in with a chance next week why should any other team work too hard to win their last games, because we would go down anyway... so if forest let us win... or in fact barnsley well we could end up 4th bottom but then get the points deducted...

Unless we win the appeal, in which case we stay up!

That would be sweet of them, though if there's even a tiny chance of us winning the appeal then it's doubtful.

BUt we might appeal, win and then they would go down!!!
Bromley Saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 ... should we appeal ..? Of course we should!
ericofarabia Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Next week every goal we score against Nottingham Forest counts double so a big win here isn't that important, a win is though. As it stands -17 to Forest and -20 for us, but as you say every goal we score goes against theirs so a win by would be enough to go above them, but still need Norwich and or Barnsley to go tits up as well Who would have thought starting next season on zero points in L1 would be a cause for celebration  Game sounds as niggly as 1st half, be a surprise if both teams finish with 11 players ... hope our lot can keep their composure, a win is imperative today. LVSaint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Oh sh*t Barnsley score. If that stays then we really need a few more smashed in this half.
dubai_phil Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Corner Burnley their sub sounds like he's causing problems in the air oops sorry just read the stuff above this and seems this has become the -10 points thread......:-)
alpine_saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 23,927 attendance Oh ****arrse That is shiit.
alpine_saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 If that stays then we really need a few more smashed in this half. Actually, I think you'll find that means we are relegated and -10 points next season beckon..
VectisSaint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Actually, I think you'll find that means we are relegated and -10 points next season beckon.. Means nothing of the sort, just means we have to beat Forest and hope Norwich don't get 4 points from last 2 games
Window Cleaner Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Actually, I think you'll find that means we are relegated and -10 points next season beckon.. It doesn't change much except that it's just us, norwich and forest now as things stand.
alpine_saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Means nothing of the sort, just means we have to beat Forest and hope Norwich don't get 4 points from last 2 games Sorry, just re-checked and you are correct. But we have to beat Forest by 2 goals.
Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 DMG to take > poor penalty, Jensen saves on the left.
LVSaint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Actually, I think you'll find that means we are relegated and -10 points next season beckon.. No, it means that if Norwich stumble we can beat Forest by a goal if we win by a few here and get the 0 pint start next season. **** pen saved
