Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Come ON you effing Reds ffs - Loadsa goals pLease. A lorra lorra lot of them Indeed, we need to make up quite a bit of GD on Forest.
Window Cleaner Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Indeed, we need to make up quite a bit of GD on Forest. makes little difference, 50 points won't be enough anyway and we can't get any more than that. Still beating Burnley would be a good result anyway.
RobM Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 COYR! We really need Wolves to beat Barnsley today too.
Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 makes little difference, 50 points won't be enough anyway and we can't get any more than that. Still beating Burnley would be a good result anyway. Why not? I can't see both Norwich and Barnsley getting past 50 so it might be enough to save us from a 10 point deduction next year.
alpine_saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 makes little difference, 50 points won't be enough anyway and we can't get any more than that. Still beating Burnley would be a good result anyway. Sorry, dont get this. I just done the math, and if Barnsley lose both, Norwich draw both and we win both, we stay up.
dubai_phil Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Wotton booked for being a tw*t forearm smash into a player then moaning
Window Cleaner Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Sorry, dont get this. I just done the math, and if Barnsley lose both, Norwich draw both and we win both, we stay up. It's not about the mathematical calculations, I don't think 50 points will be enough to stay up.
saint lard Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Who's playing where in the midfield? Lallana and BWP on the flanks ,yes we have abandoned the feckin' diamond shape, with Gillett and Wotton in the centre.
badgerx16 Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 It's not about the mathematical calculations, I don't think 50 points will be enough to stay up. Believe ;)
Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Quick break by Saints shot jsut deflected over the bar > Corner.
Window Cleaner Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Believe ;) Stopped when we went into admin and lost to Charlton in a 3 day spell. Just waiting for next season now.
Under Weststand Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 BWP F**king get in there come on you Saints
camdijk Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Anyone know the attendance? Bought a ticket but couldn't go. :-(
LVSaint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 a 2-0 win here and scrape 1-0 next week might be enough to get past Forest. Norwich and Barnsley stumble on the way, we can make the best of a bad situation. Can happen.
sticksaint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 a 2-0 win here and scrape 1-0 next week might be enough to get past Forest. Norwich and Barnsley stumble on the way, we can make the best of a bad situation. Can happen. That`s the spirit :-)
badgerx16 Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 OWTSGMI coming over loud and clear on Radio Lancashire
Hamilton Saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 a 2-0 win here and scrape 1-0 next week might be enough to get past Forest. Norwich and Barnsley stumble on the way, we can make the best of a bad situation. Can happen. Forest have six points on us and a four-goal advantage in goal difference. Those wins would need to be bigger. 3-0 today; 2-0 on last day!
bridge too far Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Can anyone describe the goal? Posts, net...... Sorry
badgerx16 Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Can anyone describe the goal? Bradley Wright-Philips scored for Southampton FC against the Dingles from Burnley:cool:
Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Forest have six points on us and a four-goal advantage in goal difference. Those wins would need to be bigger. 3-0 today; 2-0 on last day! 3-0 and 1-0 would be enough. On the last day every goal counts double since we play Forest.
Hamilton Saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Can anyone describe the goal? Shot from BWP was slightly deflected but with enough power to drift over the line (according to commentary).
Under Weststand Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Can anyone describe the goal? Its two Vertical White posts conected with 1 longer horizontal white post with a net hanging on the back of it. Sorry couldn't resist. Shot from BWP deflected & looped over the keeper
Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Simon Gillett through on goal but Jensen saves.
LVSaint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Forest have six points on us and a four-goal advantage in goal difference. Those wins would need to be bigger. 3-0 today; 2-0 on last day! 2-0 today and the same next week would be enough (or 3-0 and then 1-0)
alpine_saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Having a bit of trouble following this discussion about GD and results.... We are second from bottom. We have to get past two of Forest, Norwich and Barnsley. Not one..
Under Weststand Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Perry stupid foul & gets booked for it 3rd booking already
dubai_phil Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 sounds like we'll be lucky to keep 11 on the pitch
Saint Martini Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 Perry booked as well. I'll be very surprised if we finish this match with 11.
