Fitzhugh Fella Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 1. It will help swell the club coffers. 2. Find out what happened when Alistair Campbell "locked horns" with Rupert Lowe at St Marys and Turf Moor. Titans of the left and right! I hardly dare say this next bit but..... 3. God Forbid - if it is really our last ever home game it will be worth a few bob in the years to come.
saints_is_the_south Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 For the first time in years i'll make sure i get one tomorrow so long as i remember to do so in my inevitably drunken state!
SaintDonkey Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 I shall be buying 2 - since I accidently bought 2 at the Palace match and it was the only home win I've seen all season!
krissyboy31 Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Trouble is, for as long as I can remember, buying a programme has been unlucky for me. I bought one for all the reasons Duncan says, against Charlton (1st for a couple of years) and look what happened! Against Palace I reverted to type and didn't buy one and we won!! Mind you I don't know what happened in all the other home games I've been to this season when I haven't bought a programme.
saints triumph Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 I will buy a home programme for the first time in over 20 years. Sorry if that is the cause of our current predicament.
trousers Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 As I can't make it, would really appreciate it if someone could buy me one. Will repay + with interest (a.k.a. a beer or two) in due course!

chocco boxo Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Does the Adminastrator (sp) have his own column? Always be handy to put down your trousers as the Old Bill give you a kicking on the way home.
Gemmel Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 As I can't make it, would really appreciate it if someone could buy me one. Will repay + with interest (a.k.a. a beer or two) in due course! Will do
Mole Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 As I can't make it, would really appreciate it if someone could buy me one. Will repay + with interest (a.k.a. a beer or two) in due course! Go on ebay after the match. There will be one on there. I see some mug is currently bidding £2.80 + £1.50 postage for a Charlton programme.
trousers Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Does the Adminastrator (sp) have his own column? Always be handy to put down your trousers as the Old Bill give you a kicking on the way home. Hey, leave me out of this!
trousers Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Will do cheers - appreciated. PM me after the game and will sort out a rendezvous and/or exchange of address thanks
SP Saint Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 I'd still like to know why the Ticket Office are not advertising and selling the remaining 10,000 tickets off cheap. Last home game of the existing regime. Clearance sale to save the club from extinction. No-one could complain At £15 each there is a possible revenue of £150,000 from ticket sales alone and another £50,000 plus on merchandise, food and drinks. Why are they not doing it. imo it's sheer incompetence and beggars belief. Am I missing something? Don't the club need the money?
harvey Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Alistair Campbell & Rupert Lowe.....two of the most odious people that I would never wish to meet =;
OldNick Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Hang your head.... and I hear David Bull has decided to write - "the blame of 3 halves - the PLC years"!Oh no not a load of politics about the boardroom.
eelpie Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Programmes have been sold out when I have tried to buy recently.
Toadhall Saint Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 I'll get one - first time in years - just out of interest (and not that it matters) but how much do they cost now?
TNT Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 I'll get one - first time in years - just out of interest (and not that it matters) but how much do they cost now? I think its the mighty sum of £3
Pancake Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 If anyone could pick me up a program I will gladly pay for it plus a bit extra for your services. PM me for info.

rpb Posted 25 April, 2009 Posted 25 April, 2009 I shall be buying 2 - since I accidently bought 2 at the Palace match How do you accidentally buy two programmes?
