Alain Perrin Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Saturday is crucial for Saints. We need to pack the stadium and sing it loud, sing it clear. "You can stick yer points deduction up yer ar$e, You can stick yer points deduction up yer ar$e, You can stick yer points deduction, stick yer points deduction, stick yer points deduction up yer ar$e" Let's get the fighting spirit back, beat Burnley, beat Forest and give the Football League a headache. Come on!!
sambosa75 Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Great post. Actually a witty suggestion of a chant that I could see fans joining in with.
SaintDonkey Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Seconded. Let's make Saturday a day for showing the best side of Southampton Football club. United in support of our club and expressive our our desire that it should not be allowed to die. Let us face adveristy with unity and humour, not with in fighting and blame casting. COYR
SaintRobbie Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Cant wait to see how well the players perform after Mr Wotte's well documented successes, based on his prematch team talks. Oh dear. It's not going to be pretty. I sense alot of strong voices, helping the kids bottle their last game at home for this Club.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Completely agree with the original post. We have to raise the roof for OUR team on Saturday. Why? 1. Because we support the mighty Saints. 2. Our new owner(s) will almost certainly be there watching... and listening. 3. We need to show the footballing world that we will not be moved - Saints forever. 4. We still need to win the last two games -10 points or not. COME ON YOU SAINTS. ONE TEAM. ONE VOICE.
MarkSFC Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Brilliant original point...love it!! Totally agree Saint Fan CaM
ohwhenthesaints Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Have to stick together as fans to get through this. Time to put everything to one side tomorrow afternoon and raise the roof to send out a message that we will recover from this. Praying for big walk up sales too. 20k is dire.
broncoboy Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Just no arseholes crying and stupid "we will be back banners" for goodness sake. Lets just show some strength of character
Barry the Badger Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 i agree. but... 12,000 empty seats will speak volumes sadly. Come on Adrian, change the record mate.
Harry Faz Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Come on Adrian, change the record mate. but he is right ......shocking that with the clubs future under threat - we will only get 2/3rds of full capacity.
Barry the Badger Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 but he is right ......shocking that with the clubs future under threat - we will only get 2/3rds of full capacity. I agree, can't believe we are not getting a full house myself. He's just bringing me down (even further) now though.
Alain Perrin Posted 24 April, 2009 Author Posted 24 April, 2009 Everyone recruit a friend and bring 'em along. I'll be starting the chant from Kingsland Centre (oh, just me then).
fish fingers Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Cant wait to see how well the players perform after Mr Wotte's well documented successes, based on his prematch team talks. Oh dear. . Seriously, give it up man. Your getting to sound as repititive and boring as Alpine.
SFKA South Woodford Posted 24 April, 2009 Posted 24 April, 2009 Just no arseholes crying and stupid "we will be back banners" for goodness sake. Lets just show some strength of character Agree with the banners sentiment, but with a show of unity from the fans all singing and raising the roof off St marys for 90 min tomorrow, i'm sure there will be lots of us that will be shedding a tear at the end. Especially if we only get a paltry 23,000 and know that the club will more than likely fold before a buyer can be found. As Vinnie says in Lock stock "It's been emotional!"
